loving the game so far

hard game with an intimidating mech load-out screen, but, once you figure out the new stuff, is one of my favorite turn based strategy games. I would put it up there with Battle Brothers and Wartales (all 3 better than xcom 2). The turn system is like wartales but with an initiative system based on mech tonnage where you can pick who can go as long as they fit into the initiative turn.

The story is amazing and is what got me into the Battletech Universe (awesome lore and as indepth as 40k). After playing this, I bought Mechwarrior 5: Mercenary to drive around the mechs I commanded here.

Great game! Hard start and steep learning curve, but the sandbox element (especially now) will allow you to take your band anywhere and do anything (almost).

This game is a must play for anyone fans of strategy games! It not only consists of RTS, but it includes the creation of your species, construction of a space empire, deplomacy, war, technology, and an end game event to post a challenge for even the most experienced players. This game is timeconsuming, so an average game may take several sessions to complete.

P.S. Another positive is (which comes with all paradox games) that only the host needs the dlcs or expantions for everyone on the server to play with it (not the case with community made mods)

I understand that many people have not recommended (down voted) the game due to tbe 2.0 release. For most of them, it is because they forced people to change their playstyle. However, as full disclosure, there are a few bugs that keep popping up: the Khan dying of old age, infinite build time for reinforcement ships, and regenerating space stations during combat.

fun casual game

Best single ship command space game I have ever played! 8/10 It is a bit tricky to find out that your game puts you automaticly online and only connects you to the server when you are playing open and when there are other players in your area (there are lots of "locations," so you may not run into another player). The dog fighting is a bit tricky to get used to, but once you do it is lots of fun. I recommend this game to open world, mulitplayer, space simmulator gammers.

Everyone needs to try this game. It is an fps where you are a soldier in one of the three armies. Battles can get up to 100 vs 100 people with tanks, cars, mechs, and aircraft. However, the game gets even better when you are playing with friends, and can get even better when you find out you are fighting against them. Get all your friends to play with you and try it out for at least 3 hours. By then you should have found an outfit and some vets that are willing to help you out.

so much fun! but warning this game is very addicting. you can also build an army to your liking and battle the AI whom is more challenging then a lot of other strategy games.
