great atmosphere and game universe. the dialogue, notes, books, random scraps of paper et al are all excellently written and do a wonderful job of painting a mental image of the world and it's condition. gameplay is solid, visuals and animation are great and the game feels very polished. it very much reminded me of bioshock, though dunwall feels much more fluid and agile than rapture and colombia. one of the few gripes i have are the overuse of the few bits of random conversations. combat animations suffer a similar problem in that while well-crafted, there are only a few variations that you will see repeated over and over. but, it's a small gripe in an otherwise awesome game.
