The visuals, puzzles and music are well designed and together they make a great and immersive game. Come for the first person puzzler, stay for the beginner-friendly synth studio.

I love this game, definitely recommend for puzzle fans. The levels get nice and difficult but never unfair. It's clear how each game element works - steps, gems, enemies, teleporting, conveyors, swapping, levers, pits etc. There's no undo button but you can drop a checkpoint flag, so you can explore or try different ideas without losing your level position. Solving the puzzles requires a nice mix of logical deduction for what the order must be and experimentation to try out different ideas.

The aesthetic is simple but fun and nostalgic. The focus is on the puzzles not the story, but there are a few NPCs to reach as well as your friend Jess and the wizard. He speaks in deliberately funny English, you can switch to standard English or Portuguese in the settings if you want but the silly version is charming. There's a nice little ending sequence if you make it that far too.

Gameplay is mostly linear and there's no combat or health mechanics, just puzzles/platforming/exploration. The story is darker than I expected, and the game does a great job of capturing more serious as well as light hearted moods. The music and visual design are beautiful and I love the quality and variety of atmospheres. I'd definitely recommend this to adventure genre fans.

The Arctic Cruise is charming and fun but it feels like only half a chapter. There are only three missions, and the 2nd and 3rd have you following quest markers against the clock, so there's not much time for exploration. I liked the level design and characters, but I wanted more content.

Some of the Death Wish challenges are great new content - community rifts, rift collapses, harder versions of bosses, and some fun challenges. But a lot of them don't feel fun, and the default difficulty varies between moderately hard and nearly impossible. The "Peace and Tranquility" mode makes a level easier although not exactly peaceful. Some of the challenges were both difficult and engaging, but several were just frustrating. The skill gap and difference in mindset between this and the original game is enormous.

I'm voting up because it is a lot of new content and a lot of it is good, especially if you like hardcore challenges, but I found this disappointing in comparison to the original game.

A cool concept executed poorly. The boxes spin like crazy when you pick them up, the jumps are frustrating to pull off, the puzzles are too simple and some levels may be buggy.

I really liked the visual design and the light surrealist horror feel, but I can't recommend this.

This is a joy to play. The puzzles are extremely well designed, and by that I don't just mean satisfying to solve but also the flow between puzzles. You zip along the line from one puzzle to the next, learning different ideas at each. It's both relaxing and engaging.

I'd even recommend this to people who don't usually play puzzle games or platformers. It's not too hard on either front, it's not frustrating, and it's just a really nice world to be in.

Very short, and some of the test chambers had an unintended solution. But it's free, it's Portal, and the time mechanic is great. I would love to see more & better polished levels.

It's no Portal 3, but it's worth your time.

Hangman with words like "findlaw", b*kkake, and the n-word. But somehow their word list is still small enough that you get lots of repeat words.

It's free, but you'd just be mashing buttons at a made up word while it beeps at you. There are better hangman games out there.
