To preface this, i know what im reviewing is a modded version of the game. But that is the one everyone plays, no one plays standalone for just the standalone. And thus:

This is by far the worst thing i have ever decided to waste my life on. I would rather have been born in the soviot bloc and addicted to krokodil, and if you dont know what that is then look it up.

This is the most terrible implementation of an open world zombie survival game. NOTHING works. I repeat, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Open a door? server crashed, wait in a 30 minute queue.
Spent 3 hours farming and got yourself an insane loadout, now youre ready for combat? Go to NWAF and shoot someone 30 times only for them to turn around and end you with a shotty, because you were lagging.
Made some friends and built yourself a base? Sweet, log off for the night only to find all your loot gone and a stack of 40 batteries on each side of the fence.

To roughly break it down for you, this game is comprised of the following:
20% completely undeveloped physics and driving mechanics - DRIVING: AN ELEMENT OF THE BASE VERSION OF ARMA IS COMPLETELY BROKEN AND HAS BEEN SO SINCE LAUNCH
20% running for hours on end for little to no reason
20% garbage shooting mechanics where the only determining factor in who wins or loses is who lags out first
20% staring at loading screens and menus because youll be restarting, a LOT
20% inventory management, it took them three years to put rotating items in your inventory as a feature.

The only thing they got correct is the atmosphere, which is bleak and and makes you want to press f11 irl. I would absolutely not recommend this to anyone, not even as a joke. I would ask for my money back if I hadnt played it for hundreds of hours. I will never get my time back, and if you pay these developers neither will you. This is the worst 55$ my friend dp ever spent.

Best game of all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time, hands down.

Excellent game, 10/10. Through all the hundreds of hours Ive played this game I learned that regardless of who you are and what you want to do, there is a subcommunity within this game that will accept you. And more than likely, that community will be toxic. Work your way through it and you can both git-gud and make some friends.
