Don't bother with this money pit. Game gets worse every season and they don't bother to fix issues that have been been around since the launch of the game.

Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely one of the best games I've ever played. This experience takes me back to playing Dragon Age Origins for the first time. It took me 120 hours to finish the game on my first playthrough, with absolutely no content being shoved down your throat as a battle pass/microtransactions/cut content DLC. It really was a breath of fresh air.

At no point during my 120 hours did I feel like the game was a chore. The quests were incredible, the companions, for the most part were fantastic and it was great see their growth over the period of the game. Every encounter was also fun and could be solved a variety of ways. Some you could talk your way out of it, others you could brute force them, or maybe there is a third option? It's up to you. You're able to utilize the environmental objects to help you In battle, whether that be by setting up explosive barrels before engaging in the enemy, or by using boxes to block doorways to funnel them into another. You could even use Gnomes as improvised weapons by throwing them, if you so wish.

Now the game is not perfect by any means, as of right now, Act 3 does not feel complete. I encountered several bugs and performance issues, sometimes they would be gamebreaking where it would crash completely or make me reload a save. There wasn't as much freedom and decision making as in previous acts either, however that is not to say there isn't any. With all that being said, Act 3 still has some of my favourite parts of the game, specifically the 'House of Hope' but I won't spoil that.

Other things of note In Act 3: Unfinished companion questlines may result in disatisfactory conclusions to their story, but I'd like to believe Larion will fix these in due time. Now I'd like to make clear that these current issues did not ruin the game for me, however if you're willing to wait for things to be ironed out, then by all means wait for a few patches before playing, but I do firmly believe you'll still enjoy your time with the game regardless whether you play It now, or when It's been patched up.

As it currently stands, here Is how I'd personally rate the game:

Act 1: 10/10
Act 2: 10/10
Act 3: 7 or 8/10 (With some patches and improvement It would be a 10)

Overall: 9/10.

Best game ever made.

This one might be free, but it's still a disgusting, anti-consumer practice to sell additional vouchers for real money.

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
