The moderators they allow to moderate the in-game global chat and their discord server have apparently decided that having any identity other than being straight and cisgender is either "not family-friendly", "a fetish", or "political". As a result, I cannot recommend this game to anyone. It's definitely not worth it to support a company or platform that openly discriminates against LGBTQ+ people. Don't buy this product.

As someone who thinks Origin is an unnecessary piece of software, Denuvo is garbage, and was perfectly happy with the old version before they shut down the servers, I decided to give this "remaster" a try.

It doesn't really look any better than the original. The only upside to this version over the original on PC is that it has the DLC that was NEVER RELEASED on PC in the first place. Very nice. While I didn't run into performance issues, or crashes or hangs when booting the game, it bluescreened my PC the moment I decided to quit. Good remaster. ♥♥♥♥ you, EA.

It's about time I left a review here, having quit the game as of probably over a year ago.

Rockstar and Take Two don't give a single ♥♥♥♥ about you as a customer. I know from firsthand experience. This latest thing about them not wanting people to mod the game with OpenIV is just icing on the cake. Their game and practices have been invalidating users' purchases since it was released on PC, and they aren't doing a thing to fix that.

My original issue was with their built-in anti-cheat. Instead of using a tried and true anti-cheat mechanism like VAC or PunkBuster or EAC, they decided they'd do better, and added something of their own to the game. Somehow, they screwed it up way, way worse than any of the other solutions out there. Surprising, huh?

Their anti-cheat not only doesn't ban uses who are quite obviously using cheats, but it also bans users who aren't doing anything wrong at all! That's what I paid $60 for! They took a brute-force console-style approach to anti-cheat. Anything that's running on your system that might even LOOK at the game's memory while running will get you flagged, and that includes: streaming software, chat overlays, FPS counters, virus scanners, hell even steam's own FPS counter was doing it at one point. The real kicker is they won't admit that their system makes any mistakes, let alone tell you what on your system is setting the anti-cheat off.

That point is hammered home when you try to contact support about the issue. Any and all tickets even mentioning the word "ban" in them are automatically closed with an automated response, and calling their support line and saying the same thing results in an aggressive script-reading and disconnected call. If you think I'm joking, just try it for yourself. This review will still be here for you to read, I'll wait.

Back already? Good, because there's just a bit more left. See, a large portion of the community is so blindly entranced by the game series that they assume Rockstar can do no wrong, and swear that anyone that has a problem is either a liar, an idiot, or both. I've been falsely banned TWICE from the game, and just about every response I've gotten when mentioning it has been "you cheated, you got what you deserved." Productive bunch, eh?

So let me just say that this latest anti-consumer move from the GTA giant comes as not even the slightest inkling of a surprise for me, someone who LOVED this game, someone who was waiting for its release, someone who doesn't have a ton of money and saved up for it, who feels completely cheated and betrayed. I won't be buying another Rockstar product again. I hope the company hits such dire times that they get dismantled and the property is sold off to someone who can do the customers justice. Lastly, I hope the people who are making these actively harmful decisions step on a lego, have it fly into their mouth and then choke on it.

By the way, you should all go into the tags for this product and report the one that says "Moddable". It doesn't apply anymore. Thanks for reading.

So, I've spent almost 30 hours on the game, 100%ed it and gotten all the achievements. Is it worth it?

Yes. Consider my bias, since I've been waiting for this game for quite a while, and I'm in love with all things serpentine, but also consider that this was not a letdown on how hyped I was.

Let's start with the CONS:
- The game isn't guaranteed to run on Windows 7, but it worked fine without any setup for me.
- The camera is WAY too sluggish using a controller, clumsily shoves itself in bad places occasionally, and generally doesn't give you the best view angles at whatever you're doing.
- Doodle (the bird) is REALLY annoying, especially in the non-skippable cutscenes, and has a bug where it will refuse to grab your tail under certain circumstances (will elaborate later). I want to punch Doodle.
- The game is SHORT!

Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about the PROS:
- snek.
- cute snek.
- I love this snek.
- BEAUTIFUL graphics.
- The controls feel SO GOOD and fluid.
- The levels are designed WONDERFULLY, and are just a wonder to explore.
- Noodle <3
- The physics are satisfying to manipulate, and BOY are they consistent. You can exploit them pretty easily!
- You're gonna wanna learn those exploits because DAMN does the challenge ramp up over the levels.
- Easy mode is actually hard mode.
- TIME TRIALS ARE NO-FRILLS.
- adorable snek
- Looks very promising for speedrunning, and VERY rewarding feeling when you master it.
- HOW COULD I FORGET THE MUSIC, THANKS DAVID WISE!
- Collectibles that DISAPPEAR FOREVER after you collect them! No re-collecting, so long as you finish the level!
- Checkpoints work MORE THAN ONCE!!!
- snek
- Did I mention it's pretty as hell?

Neutral points:
- Story is just barely there, gets in the way earlier on, and at the end of the game, seems a bit tacked-on.
- Unlocks are a thing, one is helpful while the others are cosmetic. Not hard to get, and nice if you're a completionist.

So, I think that sums it up pretty well! It's an engaging as hell 3D puzzle platformer snake physics collect-a-thon with a hell of a toony, pleasant atmosphere, even if the second half of the duo isn't perfect. It's new, it's fresh, it's snek. If you're thinking about it, give it a try right here! Within the two hours you have to refund it, you'll be able to explore a level or two, get somewhat familiar with the controls, and you'll probably want to keep it. And if you're like me and love snakes, BUY NOW, BUY NOW, BUY NOW!

Crimefest 2015 is over, and the community has been torn to pieces. What was once a devout, if slightly neurotic playerbase has imploded into a shell of a group, wracked with woes of haphazard weapon rebalancing and sudden, unexpected microtransactions. I've downgraded my game to the way it was before this mess, and I suggest other veterans do the same, but I cannot recommend this game to any new players.

Having used this program extensively for the two days I've had it so far, I must say it's really coming along better than expected! As it's still in beta stage while I write this, it is a bit buggy and missing a few small features - but even still, it's better than I could have hoped. Practically the moment I first launched it, it picked up on me through my laptop's crappy built-in HD camera that only runs at about 5 FPS. Over the next few hours, I messed with my limited hardware settings as I could, and then started experimenting some more with the program, and I'd say it's actually working very well now.

While the UI is a bit cumbersome at the moment, it certainly doesn't stop you from doing as intended. All I had to do was restart Skype and hit the broadcast button in FaceRig and I was able to start using Fluffo to his fullest potential. There's a small selection of avatars to start with, and a few of those offer props as well - I've already had a bit of a time with that. For something that's still nowhere near finished, I can safely say I'm as satisfied with it as I would be with a final product! The learning curve is smooth, and you get near-instant gratification upon launching the app. I can only imagine what's to come when things really get underway for this project.

P.S. I only backed with the minimum $5 during the Indiegogo campaign, and I'd gladly pay $20 for the product in its current stage. It's that good.

This game is BUG-CENTRAL, but it's still a fun game, especially if you got friends to play it with. It requires a bit more skill than Mario Kart to win, since there's no blue shell. Be warned though, you CAN and WILL have some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happen to you if you don't pull ahead from the pack in matchmaking.

I had been looking forward to this game for some time now, and it has not disappointed me. For free, you get two planes, and one island of Hawaii, along with enough challenges, and online free roam. For a free-to-play game, it's not a lot of content, but it's still fun.
