First off, I want to say that I bought this game on a Steam Sale, I knew the existance of the game, but never had the opportunity to play it.

Awesomenauts: The Sci-Fi 2d MOBA, where you can play with a bunch of Mercenaries in space. This game had everything to be a simple 'passtime' a 'timewaster' with high replay value as most 2d games out there, but Awesomenauts has a spirit, a soul that's been growing since it's release.

The game has a community full of passion, and I'm not talking about the global chat; head over to the forums and you'll see what I'm talking about. Tourneys or Championships, both developers and players work together to create this beautiful community. (God, if the ingame's global chat was like that though).

Awesomenauts was released years ago, but Ronimo Games, the studio and also developers of this beautiful peace of gaming continues to throw updates and new stuff to keep us playing the game.

Pros:

- One of the best MOBAs out there, it isn't flawless, but it isn't bad either.
- LOTS OF 'NAUTS TO PLAY WITH!
- Active community. (Mainly on the game's official forum).
- A great Soundtrack; made by SonicPicnic.
- Up-to-date game!
- High replay value.

Obviously, the game has it's cons;

- In some regions (Depending on where you live, of course) you can find offensive or just non-friendly users.
- The matchmaking system is STILL being worked on. But Ronimo themselves plan on releasing the new and polished matchmaking system in a few months.

The Starstorm Expansion is ALSO a great choice to pick after you buy the game. It comes with +5 new characters, new ingame music, more options on the replay system, the pre-alpha for the Starstorm Map and CUSTOM GAMES! (Where you can also use community created mini-games (On the Official Forum) to enhance your experience in the game that's not a full-MOBA!) AND MORE TO COME!!!
