Absolute garbage, wasted half an hour on this!

NEW:- I don't expect the same support as unreal or unity from the dev side since it's probably a one man team from what i know and is doing his best to give the best results compared to other indie engine on steam such as GAMEGURU which is a complete disaster and the community and dev team is so undeniable of it's issues. The S2Engine whereas on the other hand seems to be doing a good job in terms of development, since my review was from last year and alot of improvement has been made to S2Engine within that time frame, I'm really impressed. No, I don't use S2 at all, since at first impression I had no idea to what to do with the tool but with the coming improvements and new tutorials as you mentioned above it's good to see things have changed for the better and perhaps maybe in the future i"ll consider using S2 for my projects.





OLD- It's been about a month since I bought this product and I totally regret my decision, no I'm not telling it's a poor engine but what it lacks most is proper documentation. The community is terrible, I've been trying to figure out my way around this engine for a month now and its safe to say i'm still at square one. I've been using Unreal for a quite sometime now and needless to say its easier to get around UE than in S2, I was really looking forward to use this engine to make something but its just seems impossible without the proper means to use the tools in hand. And when ask for help in the community all you get is a youtube channel link which is all too messed up as well.

Regret buying it, it's not only a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ engine but the things you could make with it is next to nothing. Tbh this is horribly optimised and filled with bugs! Can't load huge maps, and the fps drops drastically! Looks like 90s product. Still running on dx9 oh god! Have to buy water shades seperately from store, the default water doesn't even look like water!! In simple words, if you want to make good 3D games. Just look the other way and get S2Engine or UE4. They call gameguru as a AAA gaming engine yet it's the most pathetic gaming engine ever! It's not worth it.
