I absolutely love the themes in this game. I will probably think about this game for the rest of my life. there's so many profound interactions with characters and a lot of the dialogue really made me ponder. the character and world building is stellar I found myself really caring for every member in S.E.E.S. I cant speak on how good of a remake it is compared to the original P3 but P3R made me want to give the original a playthrough. ALSO the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic I never found myself not enjoying it. I prefer some songs from the original P3 OST more but P3R's OST is totally serviceable and I enjoy it nearly as much as the original, all of the new songs added in P3R such as "Color Your Night" are fantastic.
I'm not a huge turn-based combat fan but this game kept me hooked till the very end and I had a lot of fun fusing powerful personas. I highly recommend this game, it was a great starting point for me to get into the Persona franchise.

This game is fantastic but I would go far as to say it wouldn't nearly be as fantastic without the soundtrack. Not only did this soundtrack introduce me to HEALTH but its still probably my favorite HEALTH album. Some of these tracks I think fit very well for Max Payne as a character. I feel as if i'm in his shoes when some of these tracks play.

The whole soundtrack feels dazed as it should sound because Max Payne is constantly drinking and taking pills. I'm going to now List some of the most important songs on the soundtrack for me personally . Only one of tracks on the OST has lyrics so for all the other tracks i'm basing it off how the track sounds and makes me feel when I was playing Max Payne 3.

This track is the only song with lyrics in the entire game which means that it must have some meaning for Max as a character right? Right. because this track kills it and perfectly fits max as a character in my opinion.

These lyrics symbolize how far Max Payne has come by the end of Max Payne 3 and that he is far from where he fell when he lost his loved ones. He is now weary of having any loved ones now because of his past.

These lines are definitely told from the perspective of Michelle Payne telling max to let go of the past and follow what he wants and to let her soul rest.

This part of the track remarks about how Max Payne has nightmares about saving his wife and daughter and how he doesn't want to wake up when he saves them.

The last lines symbolize max's triumph at the end of the game and letting go of the past and moving on. But also how he wont forget Michelle Payne, his daughter, and Mona sax and he will move on with his life. the last lyric can be interpreted that either max will die alone or that all his loved ones will die alone because Max Payne will live and follow what he wants.

This song doesn't need lyrics to describe the amount of emptiness and pain Max Payne feels. it has a dazed feeling to it which is all too fitting. This song sends chills down my spine every time i hear it. Such an emotion evoking track it makes me feel for Max. But whats unique about this song is its not only sad but there's hope in it too. Absolutely perfect track.

Medication Time!! This song just sounds like a depressive downward spiral. I adore this track it has such a hazy dissociative sound that sounds so warm and almost welcoming but also so melancholic and depressing. its honestly just a minute of pure bliss for me.

HEALTH - MAX: PANAMA

This track is one of the more toned down in the whole soundtrack and for good reason. This track makes you feel like Max during the mission. It has that feeling of overwhelming confusion in the sound of it. Max has been lied to almost the entire game by who he thought to be his friend.

This track plays in a flashback mission where you are saying your last goodbyes to your wife and daughter. while paying your respects you are ambushed by a gang. this track really conveys that feeling of immense dread. max cant even say goodbye to his1 wife and daughter without a gunfight breaking out. the screams and crys of his daughter from the first game can be heard in the track. fun fact: that sound was rerecorded by health because they couldn't use the original max payne sound effect.

HEALTH - SHELLS

This is the track for one of the opening missions in the game and it fits perfectly for maxes character. it has a super dazed feeling because of Max's drunkenness but even if max is drunk he is fully capable. definitely a great opening track for the game it encapsulates the hazy feeling while also having a intense action sound.




This is definitely a different experience from Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Rockstar took Max Payne 3 In a completely different direction then Remedy would have but that's not a bad thing. First off this game nearly completely ditches the noir comic vibe of the first 2 games and is now more of cinematic action movie experience. honestly I love both aesthetics but Max Payne 3 is very unique and I've never played a game like it. some people don't like the flashing screen effects but I LOVE them. The story is also pretty good but i'm more focused on max's struggle as a character then the story and by the end of the game I feel that he has moved on from the past. The game-play is great it makes me feel like a bad-ass and I definitely got hyped as hell to see some of the action events in the game. It can certainly get unrealistic at times but its a game where an alchoholic takes pills and has bullet time so I can look past it. I'm not sure why other people in reviews worry so much realism in a Max Payne title. Max Payne 3 is definitely trying to be an action movie experience anyway.

Not gonna lie i was going to leave a bad review for this game, but i played it for a little longer and i realized the potential this game has if it was polished up some more. here is some of my recommendations to make the game feel/play better or be more fun.

-a more diverse sound catalog such as when i impact things they make a noise and everything i do has a tactile response as vr relies on our head to make something feel realistic also i played the previous beta and the screaming npcs added a lot to the experience (i have heard that the developers are adding more sound)

-make a grabbing system where you can have hybrid so when you hold weapons its a toggle and when you are grabbing onto objects or npcs its a hold grab

-another gore system idea is possibly when you stab an npc or pierce their skin blood gushes out realistically

-reloading at the moment is kinda janky so a polish on that would be great and make gameplay more enjoyable

-when i hold a weapon with 2 hands for some odd reason it feels extremely janky perhaps a system like blade and sorcerys grab system could be implimented allowing players to choose how they want to hold/position their weapon

-workshop support would be amazing

-haptic support would make the games impacts feel WAY more realistic allowing me to immerse more

-enemy health should be higher and perhaps certain spots cause more damage then others

-a limb breaking system would be neat

I will add to this review everytime i think of something new because while its not even close to a perfect game at the moment i believe it has potential and i hope that it reaches that potential

Most Farcry games nowadays kinda suck, they all just try to replicate what Farcry 3 did. this game deviates from the usual style of Farcry though. I love its campy 80s action narrative and its killer synthwave soundtrack by Power Glove. Its so ridiculously over the top but that's what makes it so good and entertaining. It doesn't take itself super seriously which is what gives it a lot of charm. 100% my favorite Farcry game, also there are Metal Gear Solid references so what else could a man really ask for.

Best 5 dolla I have ever spent

If you like Katana Zero, Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2, Star Fetchers, Hyper Light Drifter, Or any other similar games this is an IMMEDIATE BUY

this game dead, dead as hell. what shoes it got on? what shoes does it have in its casket?? thats why EA's granny aint got no knees. cuz they cant pray to jesus.

Just like the first game but with some improvements on story and gameplay. if you enjoy this game or the first one I would highly recommend playing Katana Zero, Star Fetchers, And Furi.

Parkinson's disease

Easily top 10 in my favorite games of all time. Has one of the best soundtracks I have played in any game. if you enjoy this game I highly recommend Katana Zero, Furi, and Star Fetchers.

A damn good game with some really unique mechanics and controls, I cant wait to see what comes next.
