Early Access Review
With regular updates and opening thousands of packs of trading cards. My wallet felt a bit thicker this summer. If I'm ever craving anything TCG, this game will suffice that addiction.

So let me be honest. I have literally zero. And I mean zero guitar experience, knowledge, everything. Before I played this game I watched a video on how to use buskers chords or whatever they are and you're really only using 2 fingers on the same fret. I think I know what a fret is. Anyways, the first two days were a struggle. Hitting 10k points on Blitzkrieg Bop on Easy was a huge accomplishment. Now I have 180k points on that song on Medium. I couldn't play more than 1 minute of Drops of Jupiter, now I can breeze through the track (on easy of course). Again this is 4 hours of playtime. I spending about 30 mins a day playing and another 15 or so learning the elementary chords (CDGEAF). That's probably the wrong order but who cares. 45 mins to 1 hour spent a day just learning how to use a Guitar.

My thoughts so far. You will not learn a song using Rocksmith, at least I can't. What you will learn is strumming individual chords. You will learn where to place your fingers (without having to look). You will gain confidence. Which is huge for beginners. You will be able to play the second string while holding the 3rd and strumming both. You will learn a lot about how to use a guitar. I believe Rocksmith is great for beginners and intermediate players as it has a lot to offer.

I think once you have enough experience being able to confident(aly) play without having to look, buy a Fender Play subscription. I think it's like the same price as Netflix. Then you can learn about music theory and actually receive some instruction. As Rocksmith doesn't really offer that. It does somewhat but I've noticed that their lessons are more so for the game and less about evolving as a guitarist.

Overall, if you are a beginner. I highly recommend this game. You can find the game itself on Ebay from $5 to $10 and a real tone cable for around $20 to $25. I spent $30 all together and I already know this investment will pay for itself unlike the recent COD Cold War which maybe has 2-3 months of value.

If you're thinking about learning how to play Guitar, this is by far the cheapest and easiest way to start your journey into the world or Rock and Roll. 5 Stars.

Some people buy food, I buy packs. Some people have girlfriends or wives, I grind character levels. Some people work jobs, I don't work so I can continuously support my passion. I will become King of Games so I can present my decks to the Isekei gods. When I eventually get transported to another world to defeat their demon lord, I will beat him with my dueling skills. I will create a harem of elves and cat women and live the rest of my days as their king. Who needs money in a different world? Better off to spend it all now on the things that really matter.
