It's still the classic Heroes 3 game only it looks a lot better. Sadly Ubisoft doesn't want to remake Shadow of Death whose sources were found and sent to the company.

I've no idea why the campaign music comes in Ogg Vorbis - these are the same old recompressed MP3 files. No improvements in terms of audio quality at all.

Worth buying only at a huge discount considering it's so incomplete.

Due to DRM or shoddy coding this game constantly reads its data files from the disk and makes playing a terrible experience.

At times no missions are shown on the map - it's not clear what to do.

The controls are horrible as always where Tab works as Esc, where Num 2 4 6 8 have some functions but they are not explained anywhere.

Some races show Exclamation marks next to them and there's no explanation what they mean.

On Hard mode the game is way too easy except the very first race. I remember NFS Underground was a painful grind to complete, this game is a breeze for the elder with the only exception of Level 5 Heat races.

Instead of presenting mission races as plain words, e.g. Sprint, Drift, Off-Road, etc. you see four squares. Why?

The game is poorly optimized.

Still, overall a nice game though kinda a short one.

Loved the game when it was first released, but nowadays it doesn't look good. It's not even about graphics, it's how big and clunky everything is on the screen. UI has taken a hit vs. HoMM 3.

If you love games like this, you could play it, otherwise it's probably a pass.

I'm unable to complete this game without losses using any class of hero. What the hell? It's a first such game in the series.

Pros:
- It's HoMM
- I absolutely loved and completed the game, don't understand all the hate. Started playing HoMM at version 2, the third were the best, skipped the fourth.

Cons:
- I played it a long time ago, and as far as I remember it was quite buggy but nonetheless I completed it.
- You'll need a lot of time to complete it.

Pros:
- Nice graphics, fast pace, rampage.

Cons:
- I'm too old for this game :-( Started playing at Ultra-Violence and barely completed it.
- Requires you to play the way developers intended (collect health and ammo by using Blood Punch and Flame Belch) or you're bust. Nowhere to hide or camp or kill monsters from far away.
- The story is meh but you don't expect a story from Doom.

Pros:
- It's Far Cry
- Works well with hallucinogenic mushrooms from what I've heard
- It's OK for the price
- No need to collect plants and skins any longer luckily
- Most bad reviews are from the people who haven't completed even a third of the game thus they are unfair at best

Cons:
- Some weapons are completely useless and expensive
- It's Far Cry, thus it's as repetitive as previous installments
- Dated graphics (engine)
- Women antagonists? You must be joking :-) They were kinda difficult to kill in the end though
- The game allows to fight with last level enemies right from the get go (by retaking enemies bases) and those are physically impossible to complete. I spent quite some time trying to figure it out in vain. Must have progressed further first

+ Nice graphics despite being ages old.

- Randomly corrupts save files and renders your entire progress VOID AND NIL. F-k you developers!
- Cheating AI. Also AI will never play against each other, only against you.
- Locked at 30 fps.
- No fine tuning of graphical settings - you've got four presets and that's it.
- Unskippable videos.
- Shows "Click Enter" to continue and then makes you wait 3 seconds to allow you to press Enter.
- Very uneven difficulty.
- When the game was released a decade ago I completed it fully, now it doesn't accept my save files: your profile is corrupt. Again f-k you developers!

What's not to love? My only gripe is that some earlier missions are harder to pass than later ones.

Strangely or unexpectedly the bad reviews are from those who've played the game for less than an hour. Maybe the game is not for them in which case they should have refunded it instead of painting it black.

Expected a single player DLC, turned out it's a limited multiplayer/VR game. Maybe I didn't pay enough attention when I was buying it.
