THIS is how you develop a game! 16 years of development and only after it was ready 100%, did they charge for it. Unlike all of these crap $20 alpha games you see now that are literally rug pulls and scams. This is a refreshing game to see on steam, so far I have not had the need to even look at the mods, the game feels perfect in it vanilla state. I highly recommend watching Nookrium's "A Beginners Guide & Tutorial (Steam)" on youtube to get a basic idea of what to do and how to set yourself up to progress in this very complex game. 10/10 so far!

Tarkov-lite but in space. Does everything right in my opinion, definitely a worthy extraction shooter.

I think I'll blow through the content within the next 20ish hrs or so but I am happy with my purchase.

Incredibly fun at first but you will shortly notice the end game is missing. Not enough civ sim to keep you entertained and yet if you try to engage in combat you will see that its painfully bad. I play a lot of civ games and I play a lot of rts games, this game attempts to do both but neither particularly well. To make matters worse, the devs do not seem interested in the core principles of the game, their recent road map shows "VR implementation" (why VR???) instead of ai fixes or content. Oh and no, the game can't be fixed with mods, there is like 5 total mods that work and none of them do anything useful. RIP

Keep it on your wish list but wait for a sale.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game on steam. U play some giant map with 3 bushes where u constantly die to random gun shots across the vast plain field ahead of you or u get a map where its just long streches of roads with buildings that u cannot enter cause engine is 2005 ♥♥♥♥., Its not fun, its not hardcore, its not arcade, its boring af. Every time you die, its like a NEAR FULL MINUTE before u respawn. The match itself is like an hr long, who the ♥♥♥♥ has the time for that?

Fun so far, map is a little small though.

Although I enjoyed it, I find the game is way too simple and short. Its a 6-12 hr game at most. There are 100's of cards (skills) for you to choose from but you'll quickly notice cards are very repetitive and simple, none of them really change anything drastically. Even the tower choice is cut short because you have to wait to pick up cards to make the other towers somewhat decent, your safest bet is just ballistas -- the tower you start with. I think the fancier towers need a bit of a rework to make them viable, the cards need a reshuffle option (perhaps at a cost), we need more maps and the dev should allow the steam workshop. The only reason I found this game enjoyable was that I found out I could dl a mod that lets me speed up the game (dev is against speed up controls) via a 3rd party mod launcher.

Get it on sale, can't recommend at full price -- I beat it and likely wont come back till I see some updates/interesting mods. Honestly, those free flash tower defense games have kept me entertained for longer.

Ehhh, its fairly simple, doesnt seem to do anything particularly well. Looks good tho, story seems interesting enough so far. Get it on sale.

Probably one of the best games I have played in recent memory, easily tops AAA $60 titles!

Great combat, great artwork but nothing after that. I've put like 60+ hrs into this game, I've just killed godrick and yet I have no idea what the story is or where its going. All of the npcs seem to say miscellaneous stuff, that does not make any sense.

I'd probably forgive all of those things and trust my friends when they say this is a "great game" but the blatant console port feels kick me right in the balls. Fps drops left and right (well documented on PC) and many many crashes despite a very good cpu, 3080ti and ssd....

I almost feel bad about not recommending a game I've put 60 hrs into but honestly the flaws far out weigh the pros (if any beyond combat)............
