I last played this game 10 years ago and it was terrible. I saw that 1.0 dropped and I am glad I decided to try it out on a random whim, the game has made crazy improvements, both visually and content wise. I'd advise playing with friends and waiting for a sale, its fun but I wouldn't pay $45 for it. It can get a little boring once you get a hang of it and realize how grindy it is, imo the whole quest system needs to be revised and they need to add AI factions and random events to break up the grind. I would like to see them expand on the various discoverable buildings, they act like dungeons and they're really fun to clear out.
