Runs always get ruined by one of the vehicles not working. Wouldn't buy unless you're cool with the potential of 40+ mins being wasted by them each time.

Never trusting EA again.

7/10 Right out the gate.

Hardly "P2W" at all(the term has lost it's true meaning at this point), I've a feeling a lot of the people spouting that are die-hard Tarkov players(not a problem) mad that a more optimized game has entered the fold(a problem) - you should realize this is GREAT for Tarkov, the success of this game would force BSG to step up their game.
People can buy better gear in the starter packs? Yeah, and they can just as easily lose it - if they were able to 100% keep it through death or something then yes it would be P2W.
I bought the Initiate Pack and have already ran straight through and reacquired just about everything from it twice over.

Pros:
- Quick as hell drop into a raid
- Movement ; can get around the map pretty well especially during gunfights
- TTK feels good ; sometimes actually have the chance to outgun someone who gets the drop on you
- Straight forward weapon+attachment system
- Sound is phenomenal ; I can discern other's footsteps from my own+pinpoint vertically
- fantastic fps ; this game is very well optimized
- Free
- You can acquire both currency types through your Quarters
- No desync issues ; haven't had a single problem during a gunfight
- Post raid rundown of all players you ran into and/or fought + can report toxic players from this menu

Cons:
- Too quick of access to all armor levels while having to slowly unlock better and better weapons - anyone I run into with blue armor is usually rocking two white guns or one white + green smg/bulldog
- Creatures don't feel dangerous enough to encounter, you can usually just sprint right through packs of them and not look back
- Social and queuing can get wonky ; had to restart my game to see and invite my friend, then once had to restart when our duo queue got stuck
- Lighting, shadows, and fog ; people can way too easily sit right in the open under the shadow of a tree, combined with distance fog can make them virtually invisible
- No long range optics available from the start

I literally cannot escape hackers, I went through 4 sessions in a row just being harassed the entire time. If i'm not in my camp they're in god mode, invisible, shooting me with explosive rounds. If i'm in camp, with the flag up, they somehow get around it and continue to harass me.

Update: After an additional 30 hours w/ only running into a couple hackers, I just experienced one following me from session to session as I was trying to bounty hunt. They would wait for me to get to the bounty then freeze me in place to let me watch them get away. Why tf can't I opt out of being in other people's recent players list?

Gathered round the crucifix with friends, started screaming Mary Moore's name, not much started happening until we were headed for the front door and she appeared like a strobe light in the hallway. We bolted to the door, which was locked, finally got it open as one of us is getting killed. Turn around and his head is glitched through the door like it was slammed through.

9/10 will play again.
