Easily the best Souls game in the series

Oh boy since they split up the game I can downvote it twice.

Not only is this game worse than the original, the monetization is absolutely horrible. You're paying $70 for less content and worse grinding. Save yourself the money and go buy something else.

Probably the Weakest entry of the Souls Series. Abysmal level design coupled with putting too much emphasis on the weakest part of the Souls Series, the combat, make the game a slog to play through without much fun sprinkled in.

Dunno about the game, but the hammer is fantastic.

Feels like the game is trying to waste my time at every point and turn. The main questline requires constant walking back and forth between locations all while forcing you to have rather extremely slow movement. The classes take a long time to get more than a handful of skills which makes them really boring to play as well as requiring a huge time investment to discover if you even liked playing the class/job in the first place.

This might be unique to me, but the inflections on the dialogue were hell to read as I found it difficult to parse the words properly. Most of the dialogue I encountered was needlessly wordy with often pointless remarks. which made it hard to care about the stuff that actually mattered. I appreciate the worldbuilding, but sticking it even in main quest dialogue makes following the story complicated.

The world itself is quite nice, but I don't really feel compelled to explore it all that much as it's a hassle to get everywhere, and all the potentially fun looking areas are clipped off so you don't really have much freedom of movement.

I heard the game gets way better later on, but the early stages of the game were such a turn off I didn't feel it was worth the slog or the price to get to it.

Really fun game. Definitely my Game of the Year for 2022.

Despite the game costing $70 the game has a F2P monetary model. All skins and the Battle Pass have to be bought and paid for separately from the main purchase which also cost a substantial amount for what you get. In terms of gameplay, the game has a lot to like, but the toxic community, constant crashing and performance issues, networking issues, absolutely abysmal UI design, and clearly rushed parts of the game make it thoroughly unenjoyable at times.

Never thought a cyberpunk racing game with horror elements would work so well, but here we are.

Literally removed all the content I paid for.

Should have been Game of the Year over Hades.
