It all started in September 2014 when a small young child named Dan, who was later to be referred to as DMG Dan, set out on a quest to find new friends. He approached a group of people in his new college and asked the strangers "Do you play CSGO?"
"Yes" was the reply. He then informed the now "friends" that he had the mystical rank of Distinguished Master Guardian (DMG) on his CSGO account. He also informed the group that he also possessed a Bayonet Vanilla in his inventory. The group of "friends" were intrigued so they added Dan on steam later that day. They were then is a state of shock when they discovered that Dan had no Bayonet Vanilla and was also ranked as a Silver 3 in Competitive. The name DMG Dan remains to this day.
