Now that I finally beat it, heres what I've got to say.
Half Life 2 is one of the best games I've ever played. The story is amazing, the entire time you're on the edge. Its beyond intense. It gets hard at times, yet it still makes you want to play.
If you're a graphics type of person, and the game looks bad. Theres a beautiful mod that makes the game look better than current gen graphics.
This game is must play for anyone.

Only complaint is that not many people play this game, the multiplayer gets boring fast due to a small amount of servers.
Buy this game and start playing if you're thinking about buying it.

EDIT 1/25/14:
This game is wonderful. Great gameplay, stunning grahpics coming from a source engine game, and a just fun overall. The cooperative is a nice challenge, great for new players. And the multiplayer is when you want some actual challenge.

Highly suggest this game, now that it is a full game.
