What a massive accomplishment, and an even greater value, this game is. When we first heard 50 games, I'm sure no one expected the depth and quality that we have here. It's truly remarkable. I've only played 19 of the games so far, and I can't recall the last time I was so happy with a purchase.

It's not just 50 games ranging from decent to fantastic. So many of these games are so brimming with charm and personality, that they're already carving out a place in my mind alongside full release games. I look forward to seeing speed runs of these games, and people doing guitar covers of their theme songs in their bedrooms for years to come.

I keep coming back to the thought that I really look forward to whenever this game releases on the Switch, since an even greater amount of people will be able to experience its greatness, and start the conversation about it all over again.

And selfishly, I hope that one day some more gems from these UFOsoft devs are uncovered. Surely these folks didn't just stop making games in the 90s after the company folded? I'm imagining a rhythm game with an off color Waldorf lookalike, or perhaps a golf themed FPS....

Absolutely fantastic game. It took over my imagination for the entire 3 days I played it, I can't remember the last time I felt so driven to keep playing a game. I badly want more, really hoping that as I type this the devs are working on a sequel, DLC, or something that takes these ideas and expands upon them.

In short I'll just say that if the description sounds at all intriguing to you, buy it. And the demo is more than enough to give you a sense of what you're getting. It took me 16 hours to 100%, and I was taking my time and by no means a whiz at the puzzles.

A few other games you would probably love if you enjoyed this are Case of the Golden Idol, Outer Wilds, and Return of the Obra Dinn. And some other great games with similar vibes, but in different genres are Sable, Jusant, and Hyper Light Drifter.

Never before have I jackknifed myself so realistically in a game. Highly recommended!

(However, I would wait for a sale. $20-25 feels right 👌)

Ah yes, Ghost of Sushiman. A marvelous game. It's a shame that Sushiman had to die for it to be made, but I think he would have wanted it that way.

I've been playing DLCs for over 20 years, and this is the first one that made me fear for my life.

This game appeared out of thin air to become one of the best Metroidvanias I've ever played. Charming visuals, tight gameplay, lots to uncover, satisfying boss fights. Would have happily spent $20 or $25 on it. Highly recommended!

As great a game as Walton Goggins is an actor.

The only way this game could possibly be better is if there was a way to sit down and play it through a Virtual On arcade cabinet.

It's incredible. I was frankly a bit intimidated by FromSoft's reputation for difficulty and was hesitant to make the purchase, but there's so much room for flexibility and experimentation that it's a non-issue. And to put it simply, AC6 is just so damn fun to play, even just moving around in the world is a thrill. Buy it!

Giving a Not Recommended because retroactively downgrading products we already paid for will always be awful, and something we should never be okay with.

Luckily I held off on buying Street Fighter 6, and now I just won't, probably for decades. Hopefully one day it's released in a "Street Fighter I-X" collection or something, in a world where invasive DRM isn't a thing. Or the Earth will be microwaved first. I guess we'll see!

Avoid Capcom for now unfortunately.

It looks nice, but needs a lot of work. Feels unfinished for a 1.0 release game that they're charging $20 for right now. Rather unbalanced, inconsistent gameplay. I don't regret having bought it, because the good ideas are there and this could be a great game eventually. The devs are clearly skilled and capable. It's just not there yet. Uninstalled for now, hoping a big update somewhere down the line brings me back. I recommend you buy on discount and don't expect anything revolutionary.
