So it has been a year since i last tried this, and i have to say its still a massive disappointment, i honestly would rather play the now 6 years old Battlefield 1 and its not even a close call between the 2, the other game is objectively much much better.
If i had to say something positive about this game, it would be how they seem to have fixed the performance issues and the game is running a lot smoother now compared to launch.
Most bugs seem to be fixed, but in the 2 hours i played now i still got a frozen black screen and had to restart the game to fix it, and i also faced some texture issues (some textures were super low quality even though i play on high, and some were fully invisible so i was able to see through walls)
i also dislike how people who play more have a big advantage with all their attachments, they make such a big difference that new people can't hold a candle to them in 1v1 situations, and i honestly would rather play against people of similar skills instead of facing sweats with 100 more levels, but that's an issue with the BF franchise as a whole.
i have to admit, i actually remember this game to be somewhat enjoyable from back when i first tried it, but now that i played more BF1/4/5, i'm struggling to remember what the heck did i even enjoy about this one? maybe it was because i played it with a friend? maybe i have higher standards now that i got to play more of the older games? i really don't know..
even the shooting part doesn't feel that good to me now, what a shame.
A word of advice, go buy BF4/BF1 instead, they both still have an active community and you'll have a lot more fun with them for much less money than this monstrosity. 4/10

all you had to do was give us an updated version of Battlefield 4, instead you gave us this terrible mess of a game that doesn't know what it wants to be
i really can't understand how things got so wrong with all your years of experience with the franchise
people come to Battlefield to play the Battlefield experience, not some generic heroes/specialists shooter, you don't need to chase trends to attract an audience, you already have one
welp, at least its not all bad, its definitely not worth it on full price but you'll probably have some fun with it if you get it on a deep sale
you can do better DICE.
