The team behind this game is honestly committed to keeping it fun and balanced for everyone. And they're doing a wonderful job of keeping me motivated to come back, even as the people I know rotate through other games. If you enjoy fairly realistic combat, fun multiplayer, quick games, inventory management, and skill management, then you will love this game. You can avoid other players or go full PvPvE and you'll still have a ton of fun. And unlike other games, it feels rewarding every time you leave the dungeon, win a player fight, or even lose to a lair boss. I'll be keeping this game downloaded for as long as they keep updating it!

Also, I did pay the $30 to add in extra classes. It's not necessary by any means, but the flexibility to play with a group of people or using a class that you see fit at the time is worth it -- especially because it means you're supporting a dev team that seems to actually care and respond to its players! But you won't lose anything by playing for free so it's a win-win!

Took me forever to actually get around to playing this game, but I'm glad I did! The actual controls were pretty straightforward, the story was fun, and there's enough hidden puzzles to break up the gameplay and strop it from feeling too repetitive.

I played this before Limbo and read no reviews. So I was completely confused, entertained, and engaged. I bought it on sale and finished it in under 10 hours (with a lot of pause time) so I recommend picking it up on sale. I won't say anymore so I don't spoil anything. Time to go back and achievement hunt!

I love the darkness mixed with wackiness even though I am still not (relatively) very far into the story as of initially writing this review. The inventory management is straightforward when you get the hang of it, the POIs have been interesting and unique, and I love the art of the game.

Other people have warned that the AI doesn't track exactly right and the combat mechanics are a bit dull/repetitive and I don't fault them for feeling that way - because they're not totally wrong. However my only real complaint is the crashing/bugs. Seemingly randomly, I hit a framerate spike and freeze up for a few seconds. And as of now I have had three instances of the game completely crashing at a point when it seems to be generating a new area after a cutscene. This makes it hard to feel immersed with my favorite part of the game (the story) and focus on the more common things, like sneaking and inventory management.

All of this is to say I really like this game so far, but I would be patient with it when you buy it. Definitely no regrets, but occasional frustrations. 8 of 10, would definitely open this game 2 years after finishing to hunt achievements and screw around.

An awesome game with a great story. I spent more than 5 hours with how much I have replayed it, but it was all offline.

Completely worth every cent. I would love to see some new content, but even if that never comes I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and challenging game who doesn't mind having a few villages starve to death trying to find the best way to manage a settlement.
