Always needs to update, then gets stuck on the said update. Terrible to perform any quick practice as a student.

I’ve tried FSX, P3D, MSFS2020, etc. but X-Plane 11 surprised me the most. I bought it on sale for about $35 and I was amazed by the functions and features. I’m currently an aviation student and X-Plane 11 has helped me practice IFR flight procedures with the C172 - both analog and glass cockpit versions. I’ve also gotten the renowned ZIBO 737-800 mod / add-on aircraft, and wow… you really wonder how that’s even freeware. I am very satisfied with the features that allow me to practice procedures at home before flying and I definitely recommend this to any flight enthusiasts or students. Will surely be spending more time with this sim.

Gameplay is solid and fun, and the price of the battlepass is fine. But the leveling system needs a rework. It prevents players looking for rewards from actually playing the game, and instead drives them to spend time doing challenges rather than objectives. Wins or losses practically don't matter at all at this state.

If you're looking for a tight, gritty and tactical shooter, then this game's for you.
