Good game ruined by bad optimization, thanks EA.

I made it better using DXVK Async and setting the framerate to 60 using Riva tuner.

Still Cal felt so janky to control. All in all, in for the story and visuals.

Check my profile page for reviews, there's barely any for the kind of Library I own. WHAT A GAME! I haven't been in awe throughout the duration of a puzzle game than Cocoon!

Jeppe Carlsen and the team from Geometric interactive did a fantastic job of designing, polishing and delivering such a graphically stimulating, rewarding, mind bending and satisfying little gem of a game!

Hats off to the entire team to be able to envision, design, develop, and deliver such a masterpiece!

Such a broken port, I'm unable to get a solid framerate ANYWHERE! I tried lowering the visuals to a point where it looks like a mobile game, and yet, it stutters like a convict trying to save his ass in court. I'd skip it until the port is playable in the most minimum sense.

Online play in this game is a myth...

But the rest is fine for an arcade footballer

Not a single damn game in my library has 100 hour mark on it. That's how impatient I am as a gamer, switching from one game to another in a blink of an eye!

Except this game, and honestly, i don't even know how it got there.

I tip my hat to the devs at CDPR, after 30 hours, I re-bought the game at its full price (which is still a steal imo!) since I deeply regretted buying it on a sale, as a token of respect! You've earned an ardent fan for life!

Do i recommend this game? No, I would build a beast PC just to experience this masterpiece at 60 fps.

10/10 would spam hours again without knowing!

Highly recommended to play it using a mouse with a track ball coz you don't want to live a normal sane life anyway.

Just played for a few minutes and im hooked!

Ok, to make it more nostalgic, the campaign could have started from a Napa Valley like scenery. But its pretty fun nonetheless.

A few suggestions from a retro gamer -

- Music can be improved a bit, what i mean here is, RoadRash had subtle sound tracks which went well with current route.
- Crash mechanics could be better, like i get to a full stop by hitting a girder at high speed, not getting hurt. I mean, it is hardcore anything goes bike racing, but still, the more legit crashes the more fury in online mode.
- Engine sounds can be improved, the first bike which is a racing type has a Harley-like engine sound which is a bit weird. Roadrash was all about sexy bikes anyways ;)
- Much vivid scenary, yes this is early access, so can't expect more, but the graphics can be a bit more detailed, like with more brightness and contrast, like the eyepopping sky back in the days in RoadRash.

Apart from these, man is it good to kick a fellow rider into oblivion!! :)

Thanks for breathing life back into one of the classics! Loved the implementation!

Can only get better with time, hopefully!
