Horizon Zero Dawn is one of my favourite games ever. Forbidden West is a good successor. It feels like the same game mechanics, you know what to do, what to expect and how the world works. The graphics, love to the detail and the music work perfectly together to let you dive into this world. For me the whole Horizon story is an absolute masterpiece. I hope we will see a good movie about it once in the future (not from Uwe Boll!).

I bought it 2018 in a sale and could not play it till I got a decent PC in 2019. It was not my type of game and I decided not to play it anymore. I thought this is my biggest fail purchase so far. But at the beginning of 2023 I gave the game a new chance as some friends asked me to join in and I was baffled how much has changed. Now I had really fun playing the game and about 90% or more of my total playtime I made this year. I really like this game. No, it is not dead and yes, it has some cheaters, but all in all they are not that crowded, at least what I have experienced so far.

Pros:
- a lot of customisation options for your character
- a lot of customisation options for your weapons
- ingame events for new skins
- a good variety of weapons
- devs keep up to improve the game
- fun to play with friends
- no pay2win as it is now free to play

Cons:
- sometimes a bit unbalanced matchmaking
- sometimes addictive

It seems to be a fun game, but the controls are not intuitive. You start the game without any real helping clue what to do or how everything is going to work. Especially when you do a game like this, the controls should feel better and you need way more input on how playing the game. The game feels like Dark Souls for beginners. But all in all it is a students project. So some mistakes are OK and part of the process. I guess we will never see any update. :(

Pros:

+ very good day/night and weather system
+ a lot of weapons (some with DLC)
+ a lot of reserves (more with DLC)
+ a lot of animals (more with DLC)
+ places to collect your trophies
+ a lot of gadgets to use
+ skill system to improve yourself
+ extreme fun to play in coop with friends

Cons:
- some bugs
- some DLC made with less effort (also some don't have new achievements)
- sometimes it would be useful to have the ability to swim, but you can't

Buy during sales and enjoy!

This game is addictive. I like how you can manage your team and level up their skills by playing different scenarios. Don't expect a AAA-title. If you buy it during a sale it is worth every Cent.

This is the best space sci-fi strategy game so far. The devs keep updating the game and also add new content. You can design your own race (design, politics and stuff), expand your empire and fight against others - also together or against friends.

You like sidescroll beat 'em ups? You like the oldschool style of the 90's video game halls? This is your game! You can select different characters, each with their own style, to fight the criminals. You can use also various pickups like guns, knives and stuff. This game uses sprites of real actors - just like old Mortal Kombat. The story of the game is based on an indie movie with the same name.

Pro:

Contra:
- due to the engine-restrictions no achievements
- shooter-levels are sometimes a bit tricky when playing alone

good game, personally I don't like the Achievement-graphics, but I have "fun with flags" :D

guess this is the first time for some guys they listen with that intense on what a woman says :D

good small game with a good story you need to combine

If you like retro game hall games like back in the 90's - this game is perfect for you. The story is so damn trashy - I like it! Don't think this game is about sex and stuff - it is just fun. The developer is a cool guy and tries to improve the game continuously by checking reviews and wishes.

And best of all: I had the chance to do the community graphics for this game! Thanks a lot for this. :)
