While this game has its faults, I think the biggest compliment that I can pay it is that only Baldur's Gate 3 captured my attention in the same way in recent times.

Yes, parts are grindy. Yes, normal quests can get tedious. But honestly, you can tell so much care went in to making this and it outshines any of its faults by a mile.

Well done GreenGuy, here's hoping for a part 2! Maybe some kind of auto-combat for the grindy/non-threatening standard quests next time?

I re-started the game a couple of times to get the right character, but boy was it worth it. I would put Pathfinder: Kingmaker on the same level as Witcher 3 and Dragon Age: Origins. The level of polish and care that has gone in to this game is outstanding.

As many can probably relate, I struggle to put 40 hours in to complete lots games - I get bored around 15 hours in and drop out telling myself that I will come back to it at some point. I hit 136 in 1 full play through for Kingmaker and was left wanting more.

As many have said before, it would be an utter travesty if more games like this were not created based upon the mixed reviews.
