It's very fun with friends, however due to technical issues and disconnects in the middle of missions or even worse AT THE END OF the missions, i cannot in good faith recommend this game in the current state.

Plus, the difficulty randomness is absolutely retarded. On the same difficulty, you can either have a walk in the park, or the complexity of brain surgery. It's not consistent...


Will change this review once they fix the damn game.

Later edit: I bought some upgrades with both emblems and samples. Got disconnected with a login queue and decided not to play for the rest of the day. Logged in the next day, my resources were gone but the upgrades I purchased were not unlocked either...

At this rate, the game will most likely fizzle out and die because you CAN'T Play it, constant technical issues and crashes...

Later later edit: They pulled a Diablo 4 and nerfed everything, game is no longer fun.
They made missions way harder and nerfed the railgun to the ground + added a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ effects. Way to kill your own game.

Will revise this review at the next update, for now wait for an update or patch or anything. GAME IS A CHORE at the moment... no thank you


L.L.E. They buffed a lot of stuff, still feels bad... SpaceMarine 2 way better.

Great game with friends. You won't even notice hours passing by. 10/10

All the expansion seems kind of rushed. The writing has a lot of logical gaps, and they could have done so much more for the framing of the story. 5/10 so far. Will change this review as soon as I finish this expansion.

This is the worst MK game in recent years.
This is the last time i will pre-order any MK games.

My issues with the current Game:
-It's 2023 and we have 30fps menus and ingame clips.
-You pay 95 euros for the premium edition, and day 1 you are prompted to pay more for extra content...
-Game semi-online. However if you want to play the single player mode- invasion you are unable to without a connection. This being said, their potato servers drop you out of invasion fights and towers which is EXTREMLY annoying as you have to redo the whole fights.
-Story is extremely short and semi-decent. However they dropped the ball at the end massively. THIS SHOULDN'T BE A DC OR MARVEL MULTIVERSE STORY. It's like half the story was well written by a professional writer and the other half by a 12 yo.
-Invasion mode is basically a grind-fest for things you should have gotten with the game directly.
-Many game modes missing
-No stage interactions
-The Kameo system is a joke.
-Customisation is also a joke and a massive downgrade to the previous MK titles.
-Roster is lacking bad at the current time
-Fatalities have no substance
-Tower rewards are nerfed
-Graphics IMO are a downgrade from MK11.

I can go on on and on with the list of issues, but I think you get the point.

Conclusion:
A massive letdown and a HUGE downgrade from the previous titles. You're better of playing the previous titles.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME unless it's at a significant discount 50%+. Triple A gaming is dead!

Great with friends, but this is by no means a single player game.
Basically Sea Of Thieves in space.
Looking forward to see how this turns out. A very good Early Access
