We did it helldivers, we saved democracy!

I really enjoyed this one despite a few flaws. The characters were likeable and got me invested in their stories. I'm a grown man but I definitely cried a few times. It has an amazing soundtrack as well which really sets the mood. The setting is nice also and there is some beautiful scenery.

Some of the plot twists were predictable and the story lacked real depth, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. I felt parts of it were rushed, and it could have been a little longer especially towards the end.

I got it as part of a bundle, I think the full price is too much for what it offers. Compared to other LiS games I'd place it below the first Life is Strange and Before the Storm, and above LiS 2.

I had some crashes at first but fixed them by disabling the Steam overlay and not Alt-tabbing out of the window. Other than that the game ran at a solid 60 FPS with no other issues.

The story has it's moments, but it gets really convoluted and the pacing is off. It tries to do too much and ultimately doesn't live up to it's predecessor, Chrono Trigger.

I loved Borerlands 1 + 2 but this one was pretty cringe.

Great boomer shooter, plays and feels amazing especially if you grew up playing 90s FPS. The levels are well designed which is probably the most important thing for these kinds of games.

One of the funnest co-op games I've played. Each level is procedurally generated so it's always a new experience. If I had to describe it it's kinda like Minecraft meets Left 4 Dead except you're shooting alien bugs instead of zombies.

This was a neat little half hour diversion.

It's not a bad game, but it just doesn't live up to the high standard set by the other LiS games. While it has some good moments, the pacing was off and I felt like it could have been way shorter.

As some have mentioned it does get political, which is fine but it does seem to press its views on you rather heavily at times which causes it to lose believability. Some of the characters are such exaggerated stereotypes that they end up seeming flat and unhuman. Also, for a choices-based game it often feels like your decisions have no effect on the outcome.

If you like narrative / decision based games you may enjoy this, just don't expect it to be the same as the other Life is Strange games. It still has a really good soundtrack at least!

Played for half an hour, got stuck between a tree and a cliff, lost all progress, uninstalled.

A bit like a side scrolling Hotline Miami with more style and a better story. I'm a big Hotline fan too, so I absolutely recommend this. There are so many decent but mediocre games out there today so it's nice to play one that stands out for a change.
