To get the challenge do you have to use the weapon type that is for the riven? For instance mine is for shotgun so do I have to use a shotgun to do the challenge?

Kill unalerted tusk ballistas with a shotgun? Yes.
Kill unalerted tusk ballistas with a shotgun with a headshot also yes.

@amiru1554 no mine doesn't say with a shotgun I have to do it.. it is just a shotgun riven and could use better weapons. BTW if you use Ash's smoke screen on the ballistics they go back to un-alerted so you don't have to worry about triggering alarms

@camerinwalker1365 okay if the riven type is for shotgun but the challenge say...kill 5 tusk...the challenge is still valid if use pistol type/any weapon that can land a headshot...make sure the riven mod is equip to that shotgun that's all...(sorry tho took me a while to understand...since english its not my first language)
