If this was released in 2012, it would have been huge. Most of the negative reviews are negative because they (understandably) play it from a modern lens, compared to modern games. Comparing it to other 2019 titles, it does feel pretty ancient and clunky.

However, if you get past that and just pretend it's 10 years old, you will have a great time. It very much feels like and plays like Witcher 2. I love Witcher 2.
If you enjoyed Witcher 2 or similar games from that era, you'll love Greedfall.

Don't listen to the idiotic negative reviews, it's all a bunch of salty kids mad that the servers arent working properly 1h after the early access launch. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell.
