It's actually a really nice little game. Beavers are cute. Vertical building is a good idea. However I couldn't recommend it, because:

1- District system ruined the game. The real challenge of this kind of management games is how you handle the growing complexity and this district thing isn't working / isn't fun to implement.

2- It didn't have a large number of buildings / utilities and you can not really combine them in a meaningful way. So it gets really repetitive after a few plays.

3- Lack of procedural map generation is disappointing.

If you are a seasoned sim player and looking for a maximum of 20-30 hours of fun, buy it. Otherwise it will disappoint you.

It's a 10/10.

If you like idle games or 90's RTS/RPG's, you should definitely check this out.

Finally an idle game without micro-transactions. It's in early access so clearly there is so much to improve, but it's probably one of the best examples of the genre. Definitely recommended.

It's not a bad game, but developers inability to fix even basic crashes (like, game crashing when you just walking etc.) after more than 1 year of the first release is really disappointing. I bought the game as soon as it's released and since then it's crashing in every gaming session, deleting my whole progress along the way. "Safe mode" not really works and I don't even mention the bugs in the game.

Make yourself a favor and don't buy the game until developers can provide a basic, running-game. I'll update the comment when and if these crashing issues are fixed.

Edit: With 1.5.10 patch, all crash issues seem like fixed. So I'm changing my review from negative to positive.

If you like tablotop games, buy this gmae. Devs converted tabletop elements beautifully into RTS and created an amazing game.

Developers are certainly vim fans.

This is one of the funniest games I've played in my life. It is already a decent RPG, so you don't lose anything if you don't like absurd comedy.

It is hard to recommend this game in this state because it lacks a lot of features it has to have, but I really see a great potential so I'm recommending. Devs, please don't waste this.

I really liked the artwork and sounds. The controls are also good, but can be improved. But the real deal is story and mechanics. Being able to build anywhere, more control over soldiers (or better AI), a story to follow, better game balance will be good improvements.
