For starters, the performance needs a lot of work to make this game properly enjoyable, though I've been able to run this game with a gtx 1060 6gb card with low settings. I expect the performance to be improved going forwards, so I will advice perhaps getting this game later, though the game only needs around 20-30fps to be playable in the end.

Based on my 8 initial hours of getting the hang of the game, it is a decent game that is in most parts an improvement to the original Cities Skylines, that I started playing a week from launch. Compared in features, CS2 is a much more complete experience than the original game. Compared to the original game at launch, it has much better road tools, much better ai, much better visuals even on low settings. A minute comparisons between the two I can give is that CS1 lacked ui to show which way one way roads flowed unlike the first game.

Now, some more notes of mine in rapid fire:
-The economic system in spite of being relatively bare bones is much more engaging than the original game, alongside industry. Basically excellent foundations for a future expansion compared to the much more awful CS1 starting point
-The grid based zoning system is clunky and doesn't allow for easy design around curves with any urban setting. In spite of this I feel the grids are slightly improved from the first game with larger size lots, though it is held back by the roads braking apart the grids way too easily
-The road tools and intersections are a clear improvement from the original game
-The service buildings and the ability to expand them is a fine addition, alongside much improved electricity and water systems. However the game absolutely needs smaller/more compact service buildings that weren't designed with a hard coded upgrade into the building in mind, as this makes building small towns problematic in terms of scale. I feel the upgrades should have been handled so that they are separate buildings that go outside the buildings, like the second addition already works. The base buildings are just too vast and large in my opinion, when ideally they should have been more compact with modules being what makes it large.
-Zoning demand feels a little wonky with an insatiable demand for suburban housing and basic industry. Admittedly the game gives you a tab to view the reasons for this demand which is a clear improvement, but I will also be happy when unlimited demand arrives and I'm able to build the city to my liking, despite the zoning demand being better than the original game.

To summarize my feelings on this very still in development beta feeling game and ignoring the clear performance problems, I feel this game is a clear improvement on the original being held back by performance and still unrefined systems, as well as the lack of workshop content. I however would recommend waiting a month or two to get this game, unless you want to experience it right now with its performance problems on low

I got this game from the free offer, and this is an extremely fun resource management 2d sim, where you try to survive against odd creatures trying to steal your ♥♥♥♥ by killing them with your soldiers.
The game will require you to restart relatively often because you will fail in the beginning, but it isn't too bad because the games are not too long and it is fun to figure out the game as you play it.

The tutorial teaches you the most basic mechanics like how to build walls and recruit peasants, but here are some tips:
-The farms grant you gold
-Chopping down trees can grant you extra gold
-The arrows on the left side allow you to build catapults, which are operated by builders and are good against the small creatures

The gameplay is really enjoyable and is simple to understand, but still complex enough to keep you engaged. Managing your kingdom correctly is extremely satisfying.

The graphics are a simple pixel texture which on its own would be decent looking, but the water at the bottom reflecting the world above, the background scenery and the sky make it magnificent looking. Along with this the soundtrack creates the perfect atmosphere.

In short you should buy it if you are interested

An amazing simplistic game you should experience.
Also maybe stay with at most hard for the beginning as expert is ridiculously hard
