This game is amazing and is indeed an upgrade from the original subnautica. New icy terrain, more mobs, better and more polished environment and the devs are working hard on the game. It is simply an outstanding game.

Survival in winter makes this game unique. You have to take care of the weather otherwise you will freeze to death.
The wild animals will hunt you so you must be careful. The game also features a story mode.

Played the game since its conception. The devs always bless the game with content updates and quality of life fixes. The game is very much alive and the community is great. The game itself is a bit more on the grindy side, but there is absolutely nothing you can't obtain for free, even the premium currency can be obtained with no real money.

One of the best survival games I ever played. The concept is interesting too. There are a lot of scary things and a lot of dark places to explore. There is even a story involved, which doesn't obstruct you in any way and you are free to choose either to complete it or ignore. The game is amazing 10/10

It's ok, I guess.

The game had a rough start and therefore has a bad reputation, but the devs worked hard (pretty rare these days) and they redeemed the game in my eyes. The game is now polished, there are always updates coming and they added co-op. It is an exploration game, but now you can even build a base. The game is amazing and the world's size is in a different order of magnitude than any other existing game. PERIOD.

The game is challenging. Get over it, git gud.

The game feels too bloated for me. The single-player story is fun.
In multiplayer once you get enough case the game doesn't seem that much fun, even with friends. Too many minigames, messages that bloat the screen, long loading times, bad servers, a lot of cheaters.

Not saying the game is bad, actually is amazing, but there are too many things that bother me.

A bit of an old AI and old graphics, but the game aged well. The story is great and it has some unique features.
