Scratches all the nostaligia spots I'd hoped it would.

Even the weird and wonky stuff as you're exploring the world that sometimes feels like it could be bug, but hard to say for sure.

Great game, but devs should 100% get off their suddenly-rich butts and add prevention of cheaters, and shore up their session management.

Game is super fun, super frenetic, and looks awesome. Here's hoping they figure out the backend issues quickly so we run into 'servers are full' messages less frequently, but also, I'm guessing that has something to do with why only 1 mission type is available against Automatons, and maybe is playing a role in no loot spawning on some mission maps as well. Matchmaking appears to be truly borked (technical term)...but I'm sure it'll get sorted soon with all these eyes on them. Maybe wait a week or two and then purchase...definitely worth it!

Anyone old enough to remember the original DOOM? If you are, and you got confused by Doom 3...play this, it's SICK, so much better than any version before.

I know I'm late to this review as DOOM:Eternal is out now...but I'm playing through this again because it's so good.

Their engine is smoking too...I consistently get over 100 FPS with a GTX 980 still at basically max settings. (It'd be pretty cool if that holds up on Eternal ;) )

Anyone as old as me will remember Eye OF The Beholder...and the glory of that game.

This is that, but modern and with better puzzles.

Love it.

Really fun if you can find a collaborative team, quite a bit less fun if your running with people who don't communicate or get angry if you haven't played a particular chapter 300 times already.
