Tyres are broken, different compunds have negligible differences in pace, and there's also no difference between old vs new tyres, even of the same compound.

The "strategy" in this game is basically to do a medium > hard one stop strategy, and that's it, no matter what. Safety car on the last 10 laps? In real life most teams would pit for a fresh set of softs, right? Well not in this game, because the difference between old hards and new softs is almost none. You will literally lose several positions and won't get them back. So much for "strategy".

There's more bugs regarding blue flags and other minor ones, but the tyre problem is the most important one. Did I mention that inters are just as quick as softs on a dry track? Also finances don't matter at all, you always have too much money, even in Williams.

Would not recommend in its current state.

Probably the best, most complete, and fun simulator I've played in my life. 10/10 would recommend.

I'd recommend this game BUT at the moment I'd only give it 3/5 stars. If you are like me and love F1 and always want to have the latest game, go for it.

If you don't really care as much and already have F1 2020, this one is not worth it. The Breaking Point gamemode, while fun, takes just like 6 hours to complete.

- Classic cars are gone (RIP V10s)
- The option to go into the settings at loading screens is gone (so you can't adjust AI difficulty once you started a session or in between Quali sessions, like you could in F1 2020)
- The option to disable driver retirements/changing teams in a Driver or MyTeam career is gone for some reason, so in Season 2+ you can have strange line-ups like Verstappen in Alfa Romeo, Mazepin in Mercedes, or some random dude from F2 replacing Norris in Mclaren, and so on, which can be immersion breaking and annoying for some people
- Driver/Team ratings are not accurate to real life. For example Bottas somehow has a score of 92 and after finishing a full season of MyTeam, Hamilton was the champion with 375 points, Bottas 2nd with 310, and Verstappen 3rd with only 212 points. If you've been following F1 this year, you'll know that's not how this season is going. Accurate for 2020, but definitely not for 2021.

Other than that, this year there's a new damage model and the driving seems a bit different, but better, in my opinion. But then again, not such a big jump from F1 2020.

My last F1 was the 2017 version, and, at least when compared to that, it's worth getting. The ''my team'' career mode is very fun and addictive, I've had the game for around 40 hours and I've already played over 13 of those.

The reason I mentioned my last played F1 is because I saw many reviews stating it was similar to F1 2019, so I can't really say if it's worth getting if you already have the 2019 version, because I never played it, but maybe someone is in a similar situation to mine and wonders if the game is worth it if you have an even older version of it. In my opinion, it is.
