Solves (for me) the old rogue-like problem of each run being independent of the last by adding in a gradually evolving story, new characters, and persistent upgrades after each run. Very enjoyable!

Great atmosphere, less about gore and jump-scares and more about setting a dark and creepy tone. Closing the game does cause black screen glitches though, so be prepared.

This is a remarkably addictive little game. It lays out simple rules for you to follow, and over the course of a game gives you new ways to break those rules. If you're into deckbuilding games (e.g. Ascension), you won't regret this one!
