A tragically beautiful gem of a game. The game itself is, in my opinion, mechanically solid, and it's backed up by a story that I think will haunt me for some time.

I have a $1000 PC, run minimum graphics settings, and can't get into a match because this game is optimized so poorly. Fantastic game, but none of that matters because I can't play it.

Just go play Fortnite. It's more worth your time.

Took the already great formula they used in XCOM: EU and fixed it's flaws, as well as building on an already interesting story.

10/10 would rush B again

A game that makes you focus on the micro-scale and the macro-scale. One wrong move on the battlefield can end the campaign there and then, but even if you play perfectly, if you focus on the wrong things in the grand scheme you will lose. Well-detailed, and a game that makes you form attachments to your soldiers. It really hurts if your star troop dies.

This all being said, play this with the Long War mod. The game is incomplete without it, even the devs have said that the mod is THE way to play the game.

A sometimes comical, sometimes nail-biting and difficult, but always fun experience, with a dedicated modding community and many, many planned features in the future.

9/10, not the full 10/10 becuase the aerodynamics are still off, but it is said that it is being worked on so I might have to fix this in the near future.
