Best VR shooty game as far as I'm concerned.

Works well. The steam link has 3 USB ports, so room for wireless kb/m and steam controller without swapping them around. MUST be used on a wired connection, otherwise it's unusable. It can stream your entire desktop, so things like movies, youtube, music, sports, ect are all fair game. I wouldn't want to play twitchy shooters over the link because it does introduce a tiny amount of latency, but just about everything else works great. 1080p is the max resolution, so don't expect it to stream 4k to your living room.

Linear, story driven game with amazing graphics and sound design. Gameplay consists of walking, puzzles, and combat. Combat is pretty basic with a light and heavy attack, block and dodge. Puzzles are pretty much easter egg hunts looking for specific patterns in the enviornment.

If story, graphics and sound aren't enough to sell you a game then I'd stay away. If, like me, you can enjoy what amounts to a interactive movie, then put on your best pair of headphones and buckle up. I recommend, but with the caveat that you understand this is an interactive story more than a game proper.

This is not the kind of game where you should expect to tear through hordes of underpowered enemies on your campaign to victory. I think where most people fail at first (including me) is that sometimes turning tail and running away is the most strategic descision you can make. Everyone wants to be the big hero tough guy, but that will only get you so far before some Mantis cruiser puts you firmly back into place.

Military Sandbox / Simulator. If youre looking for fast paced action and kill-streaks, you wont find that here. Enemy engagments usually happen at 300+ meters, and maneuvering between those engagments can win or lose the fight before the first shots are fired... but this isnt just an infantry sim. Fly the chopper? Sure. Jets and drone strikes? You bet. Boats and submersibles? Absolutley. The land mass of both islands is roughly twice the size of Washington DC and there are no invisible walls restricting your tactical genius. Beyond all that is the community... It is second to none, just browse the workshop to see for yourself. With all that said I can happily overlook a few graphical bugs and the delayed and staggered release of the campaign.

Very enjoyable. The satire is almost palpable.

No Linux support... refuse to watch it untill then!

Dont let the goofy graphics fool you, this is a rocket science sim. So much trial and error (mostly error) its no wonder we blasted chimps into space before people.

Turn off the lights, put your headphones on, and get ready for some scary fun.
