I'm unsure of the issues everyone is facing because I have been having a blast. I had to play with the video settings to where
I wanted it but I think I got it. I've only been playing solo so far cause I don't have too many friends on here but it's been making me enjoy the game more. I think the atmosphere is amazing, the crafting is pretty easy to understand, enemies aren't overbearing or hard and it's an interesting aesthetic. Glad I threw my chips in for this!

Get it. Just get it. TBH this game will be worth more than 20$ after they start releasing content updates. I'm a huge supporter of building intricate bases/forts/houses and I'm in love with how the building/crafting is. Survival games are a bit of a hit and miss for me personally but Valheim does it right. Once you learn recipes and get enough crafting materials anything is possible. I saw an article the other day that someone built the Notre Dame in-game!

I was also looking for another good viking game to play after beating AC:Valhalla and this is a perfect/simple mix of a viking survival game. It has elements that to me remind me of Runescape, Legend of Zelda, Minecraft, Ark and even Dark Souls because of parrying and backstabbing. (Not a whole animation for backstabbing but doing it will leave enemies open to crit attacks). I've already spent 31 hours on this game in the past 3-4 days I've owned the game because I just can't stop building my house and helping around my friends settlement.

Which is another thing! Multiplayer is seamless! Just create a server or have a friend create one and you can join as you please! Depending on which character you use, you can go into your world to gather supplies, exit, then join a friends server with that character and you'll have everything you collected from your server with your and vice versa! PVP can be turned on or off and it's by player. Love the multiplayer aspect of this game a lot! Just beware, people can use mods/software to influence their servers! Not so bad if you don't mind it though! I'm sure in the future the mod support for this game will be even more amazing.

The only thing I'd personally like is more customization for our vikings. It's not like you'll see a lot of your viking when their all clad in armor but idk. Personally I want to be the helper for my friends and settlement so I spend a lot of time in just leather clothes with no hat on so I see my vikings looks a lot. It's not like HD graphic player models to begin with but idk. In the future I hope they focus on more outfits and hairstyles :)

Give this game a try! It's still new and they have lots planned for this year already. Can't wait for the first update Home and Hearth!

I mean it's one of the best assymetrical multiplayer horror games out there. Literally if you're not sure about it just try it. The only thing i dont like is how cross-progression isn't a thing. I bought steam version because the game just runs better on PC but all of my progress is on xbox one. I've played for about 2/3 years now and my xbox account is loaded with all the DLC's, high leveled characters/killers and many cosmetics. Other than that though gameplay is solid. It's like a giant game of hide and seek but with objectives.
