Bohemia makes it very clear this is not finished, not ArmA 4, not going to be ArmA 4, not going to work all the time, and especially not going to be the full experience.
That being said, I absolutely love the feel of the game on a new engine.

+Vehicles feel heavy, are simulated better than ever and have amazing sounds.
+No more action menu, but a contextual "look here and press thingy to do things", it's the best.
+Inventory management is still work in progress, but already ahead of ArmA 3
+Player controller (animations, mechanics) is leaps ahead. Vaulting, climbing, adjusting stance and walking speed are really intuitive and feel good to use.
+Everon (the map) looks epic, and runs on an older gen computer too. Clouds casting shadows, rain making surfaces wet, forming puddles on ground etc.
+Downloading and managing mods in-game, with no need to restart game or go trough the pain which Steam workshop can be.

-Networking is still heavy WIP I presume, seeing some jittering and loads of disconnecting and crashing as of now.
-No singleplayer (other than custom made missions)
-No simple editor as in OFP/ArmA1/ArmA2/ArmA3. There is a full blown dev-kit where you CAN make missions, but it has much steeper learning curve. If I have understood correctly, we are getting a simplified, streamlined editor at some point.
-Limited amount of content as of writing, but it's already been confirmed that there's going to be vehicle releases along the year-long dev cycle.

A good game, a good fallout game, highly moddable (even though I mostly play vanilla) and very enjoyable gun- ans stealthplay!

It can be clinky, it can have low FPS during some events, and it might frustrate you at times, but damn if it isn't fun!
