It's not bad but it's far from perfect.
The background music SUCKS. They are trying to be grim dawn like without being dark as grim dawn.

Currently i am on chapter 9/13. The story can be...confusing, to say the least. It's not straightforward, there is barely build up in early game. I think it's on purpose. You will often play with different characters that are on different places like a tabletop RPG. Graphics and animations are high level, as always. Combat is not bad, switching paradigms make it dynamic and fun...it can be boring sometimes tho.

If you played FFXIV, FFXIII is stormblood: this title is trying to build many things simultaneously, sometimes work and sometimes doens't.

"Knowing the mouse might one day extract the cheese from the mystical crystal...
it fills you with determination"

Undertale is that kind of game. Chill, fun and motivational.

Fun game.
You will find some bots and mobile players but some matches are really challenging as the time goes on.
'Kawaii' characters, unique and creative vehicles, interesting skills but nothing that we never saw before, weapons from apex, graphic style from fortnite.

Never ask a woman her age
A man his salary
and why Nephise need to collect 10 red mushrooms and 4 animals skulls at the middle of nowhere

Jokes aside, beautiful atmosphere with appropriate music
Chill and sweet experience for the good and bad days.
Dev was wise enough to use graphical resources available on engine to highlight collectibles.

nice work!

Non combat games is rare on my library and i never repent when i add one.
Reaching for Petals and Tomorrow don't come are really special narrative strategies.
Do not expect big reveals from this game, it's more focused in sharing feelings that someone else feel (or do not feel).

Wish you all the best
Thank you Patrick :)

This game is not just a game. It's a new rule how to make this series relatable.
Warhammer is an amazing universe - both 40k and Age of Sigmar. However, both suffers from the same issue: while the universe itself is amazing, it really lack of decent electronic games to play.

Titus is a decent protagonist and the way that normal humans treat him is great and immersive.
Orks fight among themselves just to kill some time, you can find them playing around before engaging.
Your finishers change based on your weapon.
Some particles may feel outdated but textures and blood are top notch.
etc

To make ii short, Space Marine feels like a branch of Gears of War with a decent amount of humor and immersion.
I would love to see a souls-like based on Adeptus Mechanicus or Adepta Sororitas with the same amount of gore and polishment.

Warhammer deserves more love and attention.

A safe haven between old school and modern MMORPGs.
Better than ESO and FFXIV in some aspects.

ESO: Class design, dynamic skills, customization, crafting.
FFXIV: Open world exploration with better rewards, mount physics.
