While there is a good game underneath, Payday 2 is not a good game.

Here's why.

1. One of the motivation for playing this game is the unlockables. Unfortunately, unlockables are gated behind card drops.
2. To earn card drops, you have to farm for it. Unfortunately, farming process is tedious and boring.
3. In the end, Payday 2 is a boring and repetetive game. You will be enduring boring grinding/farming for unlockables.

Payday 2 is a boring game. But once you have enough unlockables, the game might be fun. But when you do, you might get tired of this same old repetetive game.

Dont waste your money. Almir is a real duoche.

Great game.

Like Counter-Strike but with aim down sight.
Like Left 4 Dead but with insurgents instead of zombies.
Like Arma series but faster paced, no complicated controls, more action happens.
Like Call of Duty but more immersive/less cluttered HUD, sefl host dedicated server, workshop support.

If you like Counter-Strike, get this.
If you like Left 4 Dead, get this.
If you like Arma, get this.
If you like Call of Duty, get this.

This game is dead even before it begins. There is no single player. No bots. No coop mod. No listen server. Only multiplayer. Unfortunately, very few servers are alive but doesnt have any players.

Graphics are good (unreal engine 4) though.

Avoid.

Good Resident Evil games. Cant compare to the masterpiece that is Resident Evil 4. On par with Resident Evil 6. I like Resident Evil 5 more.

Kinda old school RE with all the backtracking. Graphics is like PS2 but still very playable.

Overall, if you like either RE4, RE5 or RE6, this should be on your list.

Dont buy this game. Unable to play offline. To play online, you have to sign up. Unfortunately, you will never be able to sign up.

This game is dead. Steam should stop selling this junk.

The good
1. Story
2. Fov slider for multiplayer
3. Officially supports mods
4. Zombie mode is amazing for coop

The bad
1. Badly optimized for PC.
2. No fov slider for zombie coop.
3. Weapon sounds.
4. Cheating bot ai in combat training.
5. Use of mods prevents experience progression.(no whitelisted mods).
6. No map editor this time around.
7. Frequently unable to connect to cod server to play online.

Get it if
1. You like zombie so much like me.
2. You like single player campaign.

Dont get it if
1. You like to play multiplayer
2. You cant stand being unable to connect to cod server to play online

I used to loved counterstrike(in fact, im addicted). But after call of duty been released, i just cant get back to counterstrike. counterstrike feels so slow and wasnt as exciting as call of duty.

I only play coop games, I love tower defense and I love Orcs Must Die 2 coop. While the gameplay is different compare to the first Sanctum, this game provide satisfying coop experience. I would recommend to get both Sanctum and all dlcs.
