The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt je již třetím dílem legendární série her o Zaklínači jménem Geralt z Rivie. Oproti předchozím dílům hra udělala velký skok dopředu a dokonce předběhla svoji dobu kvalitou zpracování. Velice se zlepšily dialogy, grafika, gameplay, hlavní a vedlejší úkoly, zkrátka vše bylo posunuto na úplně novou lepší úroveň. Je vidět, že si na tomto dílu CD Project dalo opravdu hodně záležet a troufám si tvrdit, že to rozhodně za to stálo. Mohl bych ještě hodně toho napsat o této výjimečné hře, ale myslím si, že mnohem lepší bude, když si ji sami zkusíte. Doporučuji tuto legendární hru všem gamerům.

Truly an Odyssey
AC: Odyssey lives up to its name. This is by far the most immersive Assassin's Creed game yet. You truly feel like you're taken back to the days of Ancient Greece with the lively characters and stunning landscape. However, Odyssey's greatest strength is also its greatest weakness: Bloat. Far too many points of interest in the game are simply duplicated, and thus pointless to visit: Same camps, filled with the same enemies, with the same layouts, and same chests. While I visited every point of interest in Origins, I have to say I simply didn't bother with many of the locations in Odyssey. I wouldn't recommend visiting them either, unless mindless repetition is right up your alley...

But my biggest gripe of all however, has to be the annoying RPG system. I played the game on Hard with enemy level scaling. Because of that, gear has to be constantly upgraded in order to be relevant, and upgrades cost a LARGE amount of money and resources which require grinding. Raising the level cap to 99 was also a massive mistake on Ubisoft's part as well, because leveling basically made the game harder. I only really had full "end game" gear after close to 100 hours of gameplay.
On top of that, stats are extremely important. Not having 100% crit chance from your equipment basically takes away guaranteed assassination kills, which is an insult to a game in the ASSASSIN's Creed franchise. I can't say I enjoyed the direction Ubisoft chose here. Perhaps it would be best to simply call this game "Greek Mercenary: Odyssey".

Origins vs Odyssey?
I've played every installment in the franchise since 2007, and Origins is easily my favourite installment. Origins had just the right amount of content; the points of interest actually served a point, and the obscure locations gave you cool equipment. I also found Egypt to have the better looking landscape as compared to Greece. It also didn't have the obnoxious RPG stat system either. But perhaps I'm biased, seeing as the game that preceded Origins happens to be the worst installment in the franchise.
Now that said, if you couldn't afford to play both, I'd still recommend Odyssey solely based on bang for buck. You simply cannot go wrong with the sheer amount of content provided in this installment.

TL;DR
An excellent addition to the franchise, despite it being the greatest departure from the franchise. 9/10
