Very fun retro feel to it

Controls could use a little work and hit detection could use a little work but still very nostalgic reminds me of games from my childhood.

This game you will play for 10 hours and feel like you are making a difference just to be struck down by a zombie hiding in a closet. It will make you question your sanity as you continuously come back for more punishment.

With that being said 10/10 would recommend

The game runs great and overall is just incredible

I received the game for free and honestly I do not know where to begin.

For starters the game does run well on my 4080 super however with that being said I still notice fps dips in towns
The gameplay feels dated for a new and current rpg you hit an enemy and watch the health bar go down but they dont react until you "break" them. The character animations are sub par on a good day and the story has not drawn me in quite yet after making my way to the capital. The company has done some terrible business practices already with making you pay for convenience and overall the game just isnt that good its not terrible but the world doesnt look great, lighting is not good even with ray tracing on, the voice acting is fine. They got really lazy with some animations particularly with the cooking and only being able to have one save makes the game feel older than it is. I truly wanted to enjoy my time with this game but overall it feels like I will be forcing myself to enjoy it rather than actually wanting to play it on a day to day basis. If they send some much needed updates to the game and improve the state I will update my review but right now the game just doesnt do it.

Hopefully when they try again in 10 years they meet our expectations

Came back to this game to see if they optimized it or made it any better and the optimization is actually worse and the gameplay still feels stale and the same. Hopefully with the next game we get back the good old rocksteady but this live service ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks
