The base idea is definitely interesting. Cleanup and refurbish properties. The money you make doing it doesn't even matter, just the fact of making something that was a mess beautiful gives off serotonin.

The fact that you can do it in a game without having to put in the actual hours of work makes it seem like there is no way this could not be fun.

However in practice the experience gets very dull in a couple hours of gameplay. Mostly due to the fact that all these properties have the exact same type of trash to clean, the tasks feel monotonous. If houses were crafted with more unique dirt elements rather than copy pasted elements I could see this being so much more fulfilling.

I wish I could really see the personality of the people that lived in the house. Have unique types of trash, maybe make it so you come across a dead body or old love letters, have some story building outside of just the emails.

As it is currently you will have seen everything there is to see in 2-3 hours of gameplay. Base game also lacks different furbishing options. It seems like a lot of what could have made this game fun for a couple more hours is locked behind dlc. A very mediocre experience, it could be so much more.

I kinda expected there to be a plot twist the whole time and there just wasn’t. It was just an oddly “normal” experience.

The aesthetic is amusing, and I did enjoy my play-through but seriously you should not have to click constantly for every single letter your character types . Either auto type when I choose my option or let me hold down a letter, but that part of the experience was just awful.

A surprisingly wholesome experience. It’s a different kind of visual novel than I'm used to playing, I like the premise, but it was way more deep than I expected it to be.

It does feel kind of strange to play as you jump straight into what seems to be a pivotal moment in the mantises relationship, and how do you know what the mantis you are talking for feels. Or maybe I'm just a weirdo for even trying to consider that. In the end, an interesting game, glad it exists, and you don’t really lose anything from trying it as it's free.

Now this is a true movement shooter

I do wish there was some more enjoyable movement as that area of the game is definitely lacking.

There is a pretty big imbalance between how strong classes are and this doesn’t really make sense as you are all on the same team anyway so I don't understand why it is hard to balance and equalize the power a bit.

I'd say you could get at least twenty hours of enjoyment out of the game before it starts to feel stale, but if you are into it you could probably get a couple hundred hours of entertainment.

Overall it's definitely worth its cost, especially on sale

If you ever question your empathy and if you may be a sociopath the solution is simple; launch this game and you will be reminded by how ruthless people can be for no actual gain.

On a side note, if you know anyone that plays survivor solo in this game you should probably suggest they call a helpline, it can’t be healthy to inflict pain on yourself in this way.

It feels like torture you choose to partake in for social reasons and should probably be classified as self harm.

Having played through it twice now (once on nightmare difficulty) I would say this game is a masterpiece, till you get to the following dlc that is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The fluidity of movement is incredibly enjoyable, I would emphasis that if you want to enjoy playing the game don’t play it on nightmare. It's hard, which is good, but you end up having to manage your stamina to the point you can’t do fun things anymore. Also forget about killing something with anything other than a gun on nightmare.

Stories decent, but really the game is all about the parkour and trolling the undead. If you enjoy zombie games it's a must play.
