the game has a good concept but during the alpha I played it got boring as the missions had no diversity it was always run through, kill monsters, fight boss and the fact the games $25 I think thats not at all worth it.

A fairly solid hack and slash game, the main gameplay mechanics are there and the combat seems fun, my main concerns come from how much grind you need for this game for reference on the US servers you grind for hours just to get a level, resources, exp, and in general made crafting or buying items more expensive but on the Japan servers where the game originates from its considerably easier in my 35 hours of game time I've only reached level 27 while theirs a community owned server called Burning Soulworker which runs on the same settings as the Japanese servers in 2 hours I managed to get level 15, I understand the old version of the game has gone down and they've made the servers more universal so they could've made easier its been a while since I've played

6/10 To much Grind

This game is undeniably a masterpiece the art style is amazing, Stepping into the intricately crafted world of Hallownest is an immersive experience, where every detail contributes to the atmospheric charm. When I initially played it I struggled on some of the early bosses, in true souls-like fashion, perseverance and strategic thinking, allowing me to overcome each hurdle with a sense of accomplishment (Except Pantheon 5 thats impossible) and I managed to get the true ending of the game and it was truly a rewarding experience and for those that like the challenge of bosses theirs a boss rush mode which makes the bosses way more difficult but on completion rewards you with a whole different ending.

10/10 I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good challenge.

This game has a lot to offer and equally has lots of problems, The mechanics (when they work) make sense and are lots of fun but when you've been trying to place the same pillar in a certain spot and it just keeps moving to this other spot it can get irritating, the combat against Dino's can be very challenging depending on what your up against. Taming creatures is fun and the more higher level Dino's have a high risk, high reward to them, This game can be a blast with friends but on a PVP server is a whole different story those servers are crazy.

8/10 If you can get past the bugs and the now dated graphics it has a lot to offer.

Its just space Terraria with a more cohesive story line.

7/10 would kill Mother Poptop again

Out of all the games this one just has a bit of everything, Combat, Racing, Role-playing, some of the mods really seem to push the bounds of the source engine and sometimes it can be really janky but that jank is what makes this game has been some of the funniest moments I've had with my friends. Even though this game may seem like its slowly dying its still very much alive and theres still lots of fun to be had. 9/10
