I have spent already 3 years playing this game without a rest. I would really recommend it.
Why? I'll try to describe it the best I can. The game offered me a very enjoyable experience learning it, my first month was just me glued to endless training room without any actual games against people, this is also my first fighting game. As I kept on playing I enjoyed that feeling of overcoming obstacles, improving on the game. Game is extremely complex making learning curve really long, I believe it is a very good thing, allowing player to slowly grasp their growth. The variety of matches and possible play styles with any character making every game special, especially once you get to intermediate level or even further up. Throughout 3 years player base have decayed a bunch, nevertheless, you still will never fail to find matches if you know all the discords, communities at any time of the day.
Sometimes games can be unfair, depending on what character you are playing, as usual, you will have some Match ups that aren't very favorable or sometimes outright atrocious(for example tager), yet in most scenarios all you have to do is just to try a bit harder fighting than you normally do, instead of complaining you can find a way to overcome anything. The community in the game is quite amazing for an anime fighting game...oh well... Mostly Haha.
I would recommend anyone to at least give the game a try. Surely it might not be for everyone, considering that it requires some degree of patience and dedication. But I would love to see more people playing it. It's still alive and provides great long term experience unlike some short-hype titles.(i have tried every trending fighting games at the present excluding strive). No matter what I kept coming back to BBCF, you may call it bias, which I don't believe to be the case, after all i did spend at least 50 hours at most of the titles i tried, including the ps4 titles.
