what i'm actually confused is why the community (including me) still loved the game even when we noticed that Valve rarely do any serious acts against cheaters that actually ruining the game.

maybe the community loved the game cause of the skins or just full of nostalgia?
it's not enough yet to make most of the community let go of the game because it's full of cheaters and toxic behavior, if cheaters infested game not enough what will?

Since people in CS GO are mostly mad about geting skins, the cheaters are not any danger for Valve regarding their profit ...
Cheaters are a stady part of their playerbase and skins economy transfers.
That is why they will keep making minimum updates preventing cheaters, honestly they do not bother them at all.
All they will do instead are cosmetic changes, like a character in the buy menu, to more promote their skin s h i t and new character models.

you got a point, it's a shame really that i don't see any sign of decrease of players playing cs go, and buying stuff from the market, get banned and repeat.

Of course if the playercount goes down - that means less supply - pushing prices up(if the demand stays the same) - but still Valve would loose more money from less people being active in their skins economy than getting a little bit more money from fees.

Less players = less people buying keys = less profit from market fees ( so cheaters bring them a lot of money in the end)

I have a different opinion on what you wrote below.
Even cheaters today pay money for skins ( you will see on forum cheaters banned with 1k worth inventories, some even more)
From Valves point of view even cheaters are customers and are a steady part of the money circulation in the Steam Market.
So i assume, that if they would have anticheat like Faceit and ESEA - that would mean many cheaters never ever being able to cheat with free cheats for example - that would mean less money for Valve from market fees because those cheaters would stop playing ( they would not definetly start playing legit - impossible)
So Valve definetly made this game F2p to attract more players(also cheaters) to unbox more crates and boost their skins economy.

well for the future to this game, i really hope the competitors step up their effort, it brings nothing but improvement since this game has a really good competitors

maybe me and most of csgo legit players will agree with you but i doubt Valve will, bans = lost and locked skins,
lost skins = skins gets rarer,
rarer skins = price go up,
price go up = Valve gets larger cut

But definetly these tips would reduce cheating instantly on Prime :

1- intrusive AC which scans your PC-ESEA+Faceit has them and much less cheaters(VAC doesnt scan your PC)
2- OW only applied on Prime Suspects
3- Prime enabled only when reaching lvl 40 - 1 medal
4- Instant Prime for 40 dollars at least

There are rage cheaters, who farm tens of free accounts each week to gain PRIME and rage cheat there with free cheats... - Those are the banned ones each month

Hehe i tried already to bypass the forum ban , but since i was one of very few with these suggestions - i was detected very soon - the style of my posts,writting the same over and over again...
I would have to hide, speak as the fanbois that what Valve does is everything great - become a zombie.
Also i stopped playing CS GO, because to play a game which has its *doors* wide opened to cheaters with money is really a waste of time.

True which is why OW should've not functioned the way they are right now but it should be used to spot harder cases, and Valve really need to enforce an actual guide to let OW judges have a benchmark to begin with their Verdicts.

Damn that actually sounds like another problem to the game from the forum, filled with people like that, the community deserves people who point out facts like you, suggestion (i know i have no right to say this) you should make a new account and once again jump to the forums because damn it's rare to see people who actually gives a productive and to the topic replies unlike most people.

The thing about Valve and their anti-cheats i don't see how valve will actually take these things seriously unless it affects their source of income, just like how they actually released a lot of updates and game care when Valorant came out and drew people's attention

I was pointing out these problems for a year on forum until been hunted(perma banned) down by forum trolls(reporting my posts as missinformation) which are in good standing with MODs.

Also i dont think that actually Valve cares, if they would - they would make a intrusive AC as Faceit/ESEA long ago and not poor VAC which is only able to detect free cheats in half a year, premium cheats(paid cheats) never.

With such intrusive AC you would not need OW,VAC net or Trust Factor.

All is easily bypassed by cheaters having money on paid cheats and not going full blatant - *legit cheating*.

I will tell you this - if i ever cheated in this game(hate cheats) - i would get myself paid premium cheats, and since i was a legit GE i would have skill to hide my WH from OW judges and i could cheat for YEARS undistrurbed.

If a legit cheater has some skill ( knows how to move,crosshair placement) and he does not look through walls, nobody in OW can be sure that he is cheating.
But the biggest problem regarding OW is the fact, that VAC net is able to detect spinbotters - and is overflooding OW with cases of blatant rage cheaters or spinbotters playing on Free Version - so logicaly there is not even time to review properly Prime legit cheaters...
The guys answering on your thread are tryhard forum regulars trolling and fanboing for Valve.
Some even cheat themselves while trolling that Valve does a lot against cheaters.

OW is only a tool to catch and ban spinbotters and rage cheaters.
Also mostly people are spinbotting in the Free version, not Prime. That means that Prime judges are mostly reviewing Free spinbotters.
What about Prime *legit cheaters* - they are completely safe and happy.
If you are a cheater with paid cheats cheating carefully, toggling and knowing how to hide the use of cheats, you are completely safe.
Valve ACs are super weak and this game is cheat infested especially by *legit cheaters*.
