Ai in multiplayer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ infuriating. Idk what I'm doing different since I used to play but all they do is telepathically steal my animals, have 30 troopers and 50 prefabs shelters in 30 seconds after the game start, and AI keeps spawning about 4 feet from my own base no matter the map settings. Large, solo islands, doesn't matter. I used to love this game when I had it on disc but something about the way I play now just makes it impossible to enjoy.

Removed my pets. Reset my stuff. I genuinely want my 5 dollars back. New ui garbage. I want to just hit a button darnit. No needing to move a cursor to open a menu.

I'd like a HUD that I can see against the sky and missile that could hit stationary objects much less ones moving in a straight line.

Game crashes after the hardest most BS missions only to make me do the entire thing again because it only saves missions, not checkpoints.
EDIT: Removed GPU overclock, no more crashes.

And default PC controls were made by somebody that's never seen a keyboard in their life.

Oh, and after playing more, the fact that the enemy AI has to visibly cheat to stay out of your sight is really sad. Can't out-turn a basic enemy in a max maneuvering plane at a low or high speed. Always faster than the enemy no matter what you fly, and the fact that some of the boss enemies have arbitrarily higher health pools and can just teleport out of your line of fire is busted and sad. I'm gonna see if there's a mod to remove everything in this paragraph that I hate.

refund% solo easy but I played with my friends too. It's a great game if you want to hate your friends. It's at that level where at least 1/4 of you will miss every jump and spend 30 minutes trying to get back 100m. On the other hand, it's easy solo. Definitely something to play with your smooth-brained friends.

My friends are the dumbest smart people I know, and I have only truly understood this after playing with them. Vice versa, too.

Original review (Negative): PSN account requirement is now actually required rather than suggested. A couple of my friends wont even be able to play due to PSN accounts only being available in certain countries. Will change review to positive if Arrowhead/Sony backpedal on PSN account link requirement.

New review: While Sony did want to RETROACTIVELY FORCE you to have and link a PSN account to Steam to play this game circa May 3, they went back on this dumbass decision due to extreme negative feedback from the playerbase. I like this game, but I'm still not ok with the fact that Sony ever thought that behavior was ok. But, I do like the devs, and the game. And they seem to try and listen to the playerbase. Very fun with friends.

Amendment to new review: Sony still has not enabled purchasing of the game in 177 countries. As far as I know people who own the game can still play, but they cannot purchase the game in 177 countries - the same countries where PSN accounts cannot be made. With that in mind I cannot recommend this game.

Its a good SINGLEPLAYER game. This game I do recommend for singleplayer but the multiplayer is easily the worst I've played. It's like trying to play Asia servers from US Central. The story is good, the singleplayer modes are all great, but no matter what I do online is the ultimate pain experience. Kicking your balls has nothing on the teleporting arrows, spidertrons, and hammers of coop mode. And that's not to even MENTION friendlies teleporting into your line of fire. If laggy without a teammate was kicking your balls with a 100 pound sledgehammer, then doing it with a teammate is childbirth.

Trash game. Economy keeps getting worse. Gaijin has total disdain for their f2p players. Make the game not super grindy. Dont lock vehicles behind paywalls. Trash.

It was good then it got bad then it got better and is now even worse than it's ever been before. Everything all of the old playerbase ever loved about this game has been removed or altered to such a degree that it's unrecognizable
