Fantastic game, truly, all the big bugs from launch are now fixed, Highly recommend!
Legends mode is addictive as hell too, try it!
Also my honest opinion, Skip Iki Island alltogether, it's slop.

Edit: Legends filled with cheaters and really starting to grind on me. anti-cheat would've been nice...

Edit Edit: Iki Island DLC is a bad fanfiction that straight up retcons most of the subtle storytelling and character development of the main game, iki mongol combat and duels are absolute ass and it comes shipped with token ubisoft hallucinogen trash story /w recycled voicelines from the main game as much as possible.

Oh and the iki setting has absolutely no basis in historical reality, it's just a made up tale/straight bull****, they should have just invented a new island outright. I wanted to play an awesome story inspired from events of mongol invasion of Iki island, that, in fact had MORE samurai mounting a defence than TSUSHIMA did itself (they had time to prepare), and a full on castle siege.

I see now why the Iki island story was so abrupt and felt, narratively, like soggy tape stuck onto Jin's story and the whole fake imagined iki island made up bs non-history..
They unfortunately - weren't planning on continuing Lord Sakai's story into the 2nd mongol invasion of japan seven years later, which means they basically threw the reigns at some low tier writer to cap it off in a rush while they worked on the new hotness.
Can't say i'm that upset, Ghost (of tsushima) is still an incredibly solid game, just again, 100.0% skip iki island.
I look forward to never playing the sequel on PC

Edit: Nearly a month later since i started re-modding and playing Skyrim and Cuckmoor still has his full time job of reeeing and screeching at newbie modders literally on the daily about the SKSE team "mislabelling and misrepresenting" the different versions of Skyrim.
Oof. Being a control freak didn't pay off in the long run huh.

Great game, more polished "release" than even Valheim
any disagreements or dissatisfactions you might have with the game (such as wanting all damage to be more lethal both to players and enemies, more damage to resources etc) you can just tweak base game settings to be your way!
V rising, V good.

also note, Played on a PvP server to completion (holding all shards, blood key) felt like i should have played on Full loot PvP instead.

I've modded just about every (SP) game i've ever played that could be, going back to xbox 360 days using 3rd party software on usb stick save data to change values around for balance purposes (99% of the time attempting to make it harder or more balanced)
The combat in this game CANNOT be saved with the mod tools provided.

..you can't add to this games combat without taking away or breaking something else, directional combat? masterstrike timings and inputs will overlap and break your regular & perfect blocks entirely.
Tuned character stats, heavily nerfed perks & passives with equalized armor values AND reduced armor force field? 1v1 "Balanced"(not) but 1vX gone to ♥♥♥♥.
More Responsive Targeting by Tahknall, No tackles by elgooG32167 - surely 1vX NPC combat behavior is a little bit more managable now? Clinch spammed LITERALLY into the ground (often stuck in geometry)
I've spent hours tweaking and rebalancing NPC combat weight values among MANY other things (to give you an idea, default combat choice weights controlling all NPCs: regB:2.8- perB:2.5- masterS:1.5- dodge:1.1)
Solodric came the closest overall, BCAIC was also close with frantic FAST but precise perfect block-Riposte spam.. ultimately overall still enjoyable but holds back the rest of the game significantly, oh..which is excellent btw LOL.

deserves side thumb score, gets thumbs down.

p.s. who cares about the combat? see if you can say 'not me' after dying to bs and losing 30+ minutes of gameplay.
Also don't use Unlimited Saving guys come'on now, Sim's Camping Mod is a good alternative with wilderness/out of combat campsite interactive saving

Maybe the only real early access game i've ever owned? i do not do early access generally.
Absolutely deserves the 96% Overwhelmingly Positive rating it holds on steam as of time of writing.

Performance isn't fantastic though! But the game doesn't need 144fps, and this is coming from a hardcore optimisation snob.
Surprisingly has a fantastic art style - sound and music are also spot on!

Great game! bad time with it!
- Frequent disconnects and disconnected after more than an hour long play session in a great run and couldn't resume save 'incompatible' with host, even though host just saved and quit on the same level (without going to the next floor)
Not gonna buy it because of that bs, but it was a fun few hours, would recommend / 10... or not.. sadly
at the end of the day i have to go off my experience - i hear this game has great devs though

Edit: Crossplay still broke (but can reload level and resume okay), probably EGS fault, good game though - if you want to play with friends and not DC or lag out as of August 2020 you should all aim to be on the same platform Steam/EGS

Runs and plays worse than Shadow of Mordor, but has more expansive game systems.
Unfortunately skill cap is extremely low, even worse than SoM - despite having fully fleshed out difficulty options.

Very good game
Managed to go back and play through Enchanted edition new game+ and got through the entire game with only Knight and a small amount of jolly co-op with another Knight player (and a use of gem of resurrection for last stage) that's just how good the game is, you can make it through 98% of the game as just ONE of the three playable characters, and 100% of the game if you have two players.
