Finished this with the homie earlier today. Made me want to go tuck him in and kiss him goodnight.

Of the 50% or so of the game that I did explore the art and level designs were simply gorgeous. A bit confusing at the start though I suspect that's part of the appeal of metroidvania titles. I am very slow at games and played on the easiest difficulty to compensate for that and was able to beat the game with a playtime of roughly 2.5 hours. I think I should have played the prequel to be better able to understand the protagonist's situation but I think I got the gist of it near the end. All in all I regret every second I spent enjoying this masterpiece, 11/10 would recommend

I'm going to be reviewing this as someone who enjoyed the first game and came to this one hoping for essentially an expansion of the first game. I was disappointed to see the powers that you would be unlocked in plot relevant points are now a manually unlockable skill tree, I do not think this was the righ call for the series. I was also disappointed to hear Lucifer's voice, now an overly edited monstous dark mess ass opposed to his joyously sinister performance in the first game.
Both of these would be perfectly fine if the AI wasn't so much more predictable this time around. You have a minimap, a feature I felt lacked in the first game, where all the restricted areas are marked in red. What happens if you go inside the areas? You get chased. What happens if you run outside the area while being chased? The AI stops for a while and returns to their post as if nothing happened. Aside from restricted areas, the only way you can really lose aside from blowing yourself up is holding a restricted item, of which there are so few I'd wager you'd have a harder time trying to look for one than going through the game without ever picking one up.

Another thing I hated losing was the sense of sneakiness the first game offered. While the freedom and nonlinearity the sequel offers is refreshing, the lack of consequences are not my personal cup of tea (You can brutally murder someone in front of their bum buddy and their entire reaction will be to scream around fanicking for a minute or so, then get back to whatever their routine is. I get not wanting to punish players but the lack of any real threat saddens me

Really useful for planning out bases in Conan: Exiles. I know that's not what it's meant for but it does the trick

I originally bought this game years ago as I loved the first game. I hated this, the skill and perk systems were hard to understand and nothing like the first so I didn't touch it for years. About one year ago I picked it up again because a friend wanted to play and suddenly everything made sense. I've poured more hours into this game than I ever put into WoW or TF2 combined and it continues to surprise and amuse me. 10/10 would recommend

I saw a review of this game on youtube and my friend named Lisa owed me some money so I let her buy me this game instead of paying me back. I am stuck beyond belief and I'm loving every second of it!

Never again.

I'm not even gonna do more than briefly mention the controversy.

The goal of the game has been claimed to be making people understand depression better. It fails to do that, and in fact does the exact opposite.

It doesn't give insight to the drives of a depressed person, it makes them all seem like cynics.

This is no game, this doesn't even live up to its name. There's no quest, it's just "Internally scream at the inconsistencies for a short amount of time"

From me and all the depressed people I know, don't parttake in this "interactive experience", the only thing that'll stem from it is misinfo and spite

Though mostly user-created, the sheer amount of content in this game is just overwhelming.
Even so, the base game itself is impressive too. all in all, it's a really good game

Other than having one of the shortest plots I have ever played, this game is pretty amazing. I've barely even gone outside my room the last days because I've been playing this all day, every day
