I've only had a short time to play this, but, in that short time this game has got me.

If you're into micro-management games in the style of Prison Architect, Big Pharma etc, this is for you. (Big Pharma more so with the recipe side of things)

I'm not one for funny reviews, or informative for that matter, just wanted to add in my recommendation, the dev seems to genuinley love building this game. Keep up the good work!

So far, I've played a few games. Nothing special. Got 21st on solo.

The fun for me comes in totally avoiding anyone else, and when I do come in to contact with anyone I get destroyed because I am totally inept at shooting a gun.

It's fun if a little buggy.

The only issue I have with the game is the Micro-transactions. It's early access, the company is asking you to commit even more money to a game that might not even get to v1.0. Though, as far as I can tell, it's all purely cosmetic.

Worth a go.

15/20 achievments in 0.5 hours though, so it's short. But for 63pence, who can complain at that.

Bought this at the same time as NMS, so haven't had a great deal of time to play.

What I have played, has been amazing, everything MN9 should have been.

Looking forward to getting into this properly in the near future.

I hate this game so much. I've never been so angry whilst playing a game...

The last 48 hours have been fun.

16 hours sleeping
7 hours for making a murderer.
8 hours doing normal stuff.
17 hours playing this.

I still don't understand what I'm doing.

But I love it.

Review

Only a short time played tonight. But...this is good. Rode a goat, upgraded to a horse, found a buggy, died in lava.

Also, fell through the floor a few times.


Edit 1. I have a dragon. There are NO words.

I haven't had a great deal of time to play this, however, it is genuinley fantastic. Hard, but so much fun.

The last 20 minutes of my life. Paid £11 for The Forest. Installed said game. Skipped a cutscene. Smashed open suitcases. Got killed by a naked man.

It's been Almost 3 years since my original review, finally got around to giving it another shot.

It's good. It's very good. Scares the hell outta me, but it's kept my attention long enough to not play Rocket League.

It looks better than it dead 3 years ago, it runs a whole lot better (though that could be the upgrades to my rig).

If you like survival games with a little edge to them & not just, build this, eat that etc, this is worth a shot.
